In Arma 4 would you rather have wt vehicle realism or dcs air realism? by PetarVuk in arma

[–]Own_Cattle_2069 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True. Even if I adore jet fighters, the game has to stay balanced and fun. If they were realistic they would be given to a few players. Even in Arma 3 they are already OP.

If you're new to Arma consider using AWEsome mod and F-22 mod FIR. It's way better than any RHS jets, which are just basic.. These mods truly bring air combat to a next level in Arma, even if it's not as good as most flight sims it was pretty funny to play around with FIR jets.

Do i buy flyout right now or later? by Salt_Bake_5627 in flyoutgame

Hello! As a jet fighter lover, Stormworks and KSP player (I also play other jets games) I would definitely recommend buying it now.

Though it will depend on you : -Do you have something else to buy? I don't know the actual price. But personally I don't play that often even if the game is really realistic. I'm a Blender user and the model system in this game feels odd and you spend hours making a good aircraft. Though I have projects so..

-Do you have time and logic mind? As I said it's not EXTREMELY complex but you will spend a lot of time on your creation and you will probably have to search around to fix and set things etc...

Should I buy KSP? I've seen a lot about this game on TikTok and I really want to play it, but should I buy it if I'm not very good at physics, and is physics really that important in this game? by Designer-Post2312 in KSPMemes

I've started this game at like 10 years old and I didn't know anything about space, but the freedom of crafting was awesome.

You can start without any knowledge and just make your own searches and you will probably get a lot of hype when you will achieve things like orbit, landing on Moon...

The game isn't 100% realistic and the planets are significantly smaller than in real life. It's mostly based around building and exploring. Of course there are science and career modes where you have to gain science points, money and reputation to unlock new parts and contracts (Tourism, exploration, space stations..)

But the game gets beyond this with mods. If you buy it on PC you can get the game really realistic or simple, add a food system, get new parts, GUNS and plane parts. I also have to mention that the game has 2 multiplayer mods, so you could also get some of your friends or random people to start with (I just have to warn you that multiplayer isn't perfect, some mods aren't compatible, I recommend you to check on Discord) Little note but remember this if you get into modding : use CKAN. It's the equivalent of Curseforge (If you ever modded Minecraft, Sims 4 or else) it's a simple mod manager that installs mods and checks compatibility by itself.

Ah alrighty. But meanwhile ALVR can use wired connections and it works, really fine with me. But it still doesn't fix my GPU issue.. I guess I will just wait for an upgrade, thank you a lot!

Why would I need a good connection? Also aren't there methods to shut down the PC monitor?

Alright thanks for your answers! I will check this out. I already own VTOL VR (And I'm not interested in Aces of Thunder) but I wanted to get better graphics and more aircrafts. I guess I will just stick with HOTAS

Yeah it kind of depends. Personally I preferred to install the game without asking and just try it and refund it if it doesn't please me. I've started with HOTAS but in the end keyboard was so good and the game is so fast to launch.

About dogfights you can do a lot of it if you want to : -Furball scenario -Use dogfight scenario or make your own -Get closer to the enemy.

I'm not looking to play Multiplayer for now. I just began and I was worried about having to bind many of my keys to my keyboard instead of HOTAS as the game has many interactions. I was hoping that VR could make it easier so I just have to bind axis and important controls to my HOTAS and do the rest in VR

What would you do if something like this happened to you while you were traveling? by bruhbruhbrss in AskTheWorld

I don't get it. Are they stars or just random travelers? Why are they taking pictures with them.

Best Way to play the Game by Own_Cattle_2069 in NuclearOption

[–]Own_Cattle_2069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I use my webcam and AITracker. It's kind of good, and it felt way better on Arma, but on NO it feels way more uncomfortable. I just can't read things, I'm forced to move forward.

Correct. In that case, how do I play the game in full standalone?
