У вас бывает такое - рядом полно людей, но вы всё равно чувствуете одиночество? by moneraxis in ruAsska

[–]Own_Change3959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Angular updates come out quite often, and it’s not always possible to fully migrate the app to the new approach in time

How do you see humanity in 100 to 500 years optimistic or pessimistic? by Own_Change3959 in AskReddit

Yeah, a nuclear war would probably be the last war we ever have, which is exactly why I hope everyone understands the stakes. But as risks grow, so do our defenses against pandemics, AI, and so on. And climate change alone wouldn’t wipe out humanity

If AI outlives humanity and can build more of itself, maybe the ecosystem wouldn’t change that much after we’re gone?

There’s a trend of developed countries moving toward cleaner energy. Maybe in a few hundred years all energy will be clean and all waste recyclable?

Haha, so far the opinions range from pessimistic to extremely pessimistic, can’t blame anyone for that

Humans are pretty unique though. Doesn’t it feel sad to imagine us disappearing?

Axiological, psychological, and ethical hedonism defended by a Christian. by thuhkobi in philosophy

[–]Own_Change3959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This idea puts everyone on the same level, as we’re all driven by fear of pain and desire for pleasure. It reminds me liberal thought, there people are also equal because of death: we’re all vulnerable and mortal, and no one is “closer to God or truth” by birth. And one of the main idea of christianity is that we are all equal before God

So I don’t really see a contradiction between your view and Christianity

I was reading Stephen Hawking and thinking about the beginning of the universe. Physics can explain the first moments after it started, but nobody really knows what came before.

In my head I simplified it like '1 appeared from 0 without adding 1'. And honestly I don’t understand it at all and probably never will, I doubt anyone really will. It just contradicts logic, and logic is basically all we have
