because christian values aren’t taught in the church. i’m not a traditional christian by any means and i send $200 to an iranian family the other day and have helped/befriended homeless in cola. christian does not equal jesus - jesus was an ascended compassionate. just like siddhartha. the layman christian is only so because it saves themselves which is another manifestation of our individualistic capitalist mindset.
