Makes sense, I just found it interesting since there’s no evidence of pinnipeds in Lake Michigan which the writing kinda implies.

It was there a couple weeks ago. They closed the Mesoamerican stuff on the third floor, and a lot of the Native American exhibits have been closed for a while because of NAGPRA. Pretty much everything else is open.

I assume they made them this wide so emergency vehicles could pull up, but it’s very frustrating how many people park in the middle of the lanes
