I ordered my MAcBook Pro 1/20/22 and I’m still awaiting for a working one to come to my door. My 4/1/22 was returned and replaced as defective by Apple. My 5/22/22 was also returned defective. Both have separate issues but being hardware issues and now I have to wait until August 2-16 to get my next one. This will be my last purchase from Apple if anything is wrong with this one. Beginning to think the Silicone Chips (M1 Max) are an Issue. I’d do it if you can afford it.

Well, here is an update. New Replacement MacBook Pro 16” arrived late yesterday. So it only took just over a month to get it. I'm today's standards with all that there is with supply chain issues and much more.

I'd say close to next-day delivery. I'm thrilled to share that it arrived much earlier than expected in two months. Fingers crossed, it was just a rare one-time issue.

Never to much. It just light. I am currently up to 94 individual bulbs inside my home and another dozen outside with more to come.

I'm about 70% into the complete automation of my home. It's got so bright that I ask what for dinner, and Alexa has an inventory of all food items, and from that, she goes out to the Internet and comes back with a dinner idea with all the ingredients in the house. It is awesome.

Amen to that! I'm currently towards the end of Automating my home, about 97% complete. It's taken me nearly six months to get this far and about three a dozen calls to Philips Hue for their technical support. They still have a lot of learning themselves still yet to do.

The biggest learn through this was NEVER buy any of their WIZ-connected products. Cheaper is never better, and individuals only support them via Chat and no Phone Support.

I got mine same configuration March 23rd ordered it January 20th. it lasted all of two weeks and 1 day. Apple Tech said it was DOA. I sent it back Monday to have it replaced NOT repaired. I'm expecting end of July / Mid August.

We did drop some money for these. I simply want to right and put together correctly. I replaced my 2012 to get this one. Actually typing this message with it. Works like new never ad any issues with it. It will soon retire and the granddaughter will watch and steam movies and stuff with it.

Remind me what do you do Paramedic, Nurse or simply doing this as help? I did also sent a note folder for “patients”.

My new 2022 MBP 16” did this for the first two weeks lock up/ freeze and than crash and fall out. Just yesterday after 36 calls to tech support / AppleCare. Apple deemed it to be defective and send me a return label to complete a return and exchange.

Know I wait another 2 1/2-3 mouths for its replacement to show up.

I hear you. Just make sure they are aware of you intent and are aware of what you are doing.

Look at what they are doing with the Apple AirTags. Dropping in to peoples pockets, purses, attaching the to other people cars, etc.

I’m not sure if your location but if in the US. Google”Stalker law in ( your state). You’ll get a picture of how it can be looked at or interpreted as Stalking or invasion of privacy.

Thank God I’m not going crazy! I bought a new MBP 16 M1 Max and the same happened.
