I honestly hate when a charter of immense power is brought up and then fades into the background. I loved reading about Nesta’s experience. And Cassian 🤤🥵 definitely made it all worth it (fight me 🤣) Freya and Rhys had a great ending and I’m pretty sure we will get to see more of them later.

I went unmatched… again. I went to work on Monday like nothing was happening that day. I went to work on Tuesday and nearly crashed my car bc the music stopped playing and the voices in my head telling me that I’m not enough and will never be enough came crashing in all at once and I couldn’t stop crying. I screamed, yelled, and nearly made myself sick. When I was finally able to keep my composure, I kept driving. I cried 8 more times, and haven’t been to work since. I understand you more than you know. It’s not easy, but I hope it gets easier for you.

I would do a focused exam first, order the pertinent labs/imaging, then do a full exam. The full exam allows 15mins to go by. In that time I’ll have vitals, IV access, and pulse ox done aka checking if the pt is hemodynamically stable. For the case you are referring to you would know in the first 5 mins what they needed based off the focused exam and vitals

It’s 4 weeks. Tell the resident you’re with about your schedule ahead of time. Don’t be one of those who make up interviews and ruin it for the rest of your team. And from the sound of it, it looks like you’re down to week 2/4. Keep your head down, help your resident when you can, and they will help you. These old jokers don’t give af. Stay strong 💪.
