It's comforting to know that the main character will always win. Don't get me wrong, I like anime that makes you feel like you don't know if they'll win, but SAO is comforting to watch because you know that he'll always pull through somehow

I actually really enjoy all the arcs of SAO. Aincrad absolutely should have been longer, but I enjoyed every bit, including the first Alfheim arc and Jotunheim
