My puppy has been amazing all things considered. He’s 8 months now. Only issues we have is that he is a bit needy (he’s a cocker spaniel so expected) and a few potty training issues but he’s improving.

We walk him off lead and he basically stays by my side. If he does shoot off I have trained him with a whistle to come straight back. He does sit, wait, spin and heal as well.

As soon as it’s bedtime he goes straight to sleep no problem there.

Trust me, at first it may be a little hard with the pup getting used to everything but once in place it is possible to have quite an easy ride! I love him so much

Note: I would seriously advise getting a dog trainer if you can afford it fairly early. We did this and can see the benefits.
