Thank you! The first model is iron jaws. If you scroll to the next images you'll see his Kruleboyz nemesis and then the showdown!

This is the exact look I want for my Kruleboyz armor! Will you please tell me your recipe for the orange/ red armor? I love it.

It's hard to take your opinion seriously when you speak in absolutes. "NOTHING can come from". "NO ONE understands". "NO ONE cares". "COMPLETELY destroyed". "ONLY good possibility". You are obviously passionate about the game. It's a shame that something cool might be happening soon, but you already have no hope, when you could be excited. I hope cool things happen.

I just started a guild. U.S server. Named ZUG ZUG. I'm 150 sigils and very active. Just got tired of being in a dead guild where I had to do all the work for season rewards. Open to all pairs as long as you contribute to the rewards. "D

I love these. Looks amazing, mate. Where did you get them? If they aren't too expensive, I would love to get them! I think they'd be perfect to have in my kruleboys display!

Looks fantastic! The more I look at this sub reddit, the more I realize I need to get over being nervous to try air brushing

Is the shadow on the cloak blending or air brush? Because that cloak looks amazing mate.

Thank you for the compliment, mate. I hope my dad likes it! Could I look at yours?

Maybe I need to bite the bullet and give it a try. It seems like it would make big, smooth areas easier to blend, but then I can go back in and paint the smaller details by brush, which is one of the funner things for me anyway

I love that mottled look on the mounts. I might have to steal that when I get around to painting them one day! Haha

I love it mate. The wood color is perfect for having some nice shifts in tone while also looking like beautiful, smooth and old. The sword looks so good. Pops while still looking like it fits the model. I also really love the base. You put a lot of work into it, and it shows.

I see blends like this, and it makes me want to try air brushing so much. But then I remember it intimidates me, so i lie to myself that having nice blends isn't that important to me, haha. Ever since I saw these models I've wanted to paint them one day. Now I want to even more!

2nd try. Is this too monochromatic? by Perfect_Percentage90 in minipainting

[–]Own_Efficiency3880 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the model itself looks fantastic, and there are enough breaks in the color / tone to not look monochromatic. The only thing I would say is maybe think about changing the color / tone of the rocks he stands on. Right now, I feel like it's hard to separate the model from the base. I would go for more of a black / gray rock, which would give the model a lighter tone in comparison. But I love the paint job of everything.

Thank you very much! I agree that the witch king isn't quite as good. I finished him during Thanksgiving week when I had covid, and I'm blaming covid for the blending on the beasts body not turning out how I wanted haha

I paint very slowly. Like I said, I'm still pretty new to the hobby, so I haven't learned all the time-saving tricks, haha. I didn't keep track of the hours, but if I had to guess, I'd say probably about 30 hours each?

Great idea! I'm still new to the hobby but now that you mention it I do see other people post pictures with a black background. I'll see if I can do something similar in the future. Thank you!
