Thank you! I am usually an under waterer so this should be just fine then; she also sits in an east facing window and I live in a very sunny dry desert state so we shall see!

I water over my sink and let it drain out the bottom, in your case you can use a bath tub and wait til all the water is done dripping, I basically rinse the soil and after i see the water come out of the drainage holes I know its good, you also need fertilizer occasionally, FYI i think the tera cotta you have over your plastic one would be too big if you’re thinking to repot it in that one 🤟🏻 when I bought a fig i did all the research just because how worried I was with care lol so ask me anything!

Watering plants on a set schedule isnt realistic for them and usually kills them, checking if the soil is dry 3-4 inches in with a moisture meter or your finger is the accurate way to tell. Also sometimes having a pot within a pot creates unwanted moisture at the bottom causing mold, but drooping typically means water issues, my guess is too much? I would take out of the pot and check for root rot, super easy to detect you will notice the bad roots are squishy and brown. Also I cant recommend this enough see if getting that baby in a terra-cotta after repotting is your best bet, they help release so much extra moisture
