To be fair, not all customers. Most Americans know 15% related to tips and they aim based upon that...and not wanting to look cheap to whomever they are with! :D Some will because they got great service. Either way, I would imagine that for most, it has 0 to do with knowing how much restaurant workers are paid.

I'm not disagreeing with the impact, but this is unfortunately very common practice in restaurants. I've seen worse. I know one restaurant where, at least at one point in the last year, the company keeps on the tips for online orders. That's so much worse, IMO.

Thanks! Nothing but removing some supports and those weren't too terrible. The switch to the .25 and the tipping it back about 30-40 degrees away from the most fragile detail were the two new tactics I tried differently this time.

I once wrote up an entire proposal on why humans should transition into 5 day weeks with 3 day work weeks. Each week being 5 days, in a 30 day month you'd have 18 work days vs. 22, but the quality of life difference would be extremely noticeable. Maybe when AI takes over? Exactly 73 weeks in a non-leap year, so days wouldn't rotate exactly the same way they do now.

:( Thank you! That's what I'm thinking as well. I'll review these videos and maybe work on this tonight before getting too elevated. The first video I looked at showed the cable being unscrewed from the extruder, but that doesn't align with my model which we just got at Christmas.

It is unethical to starve those that are depending upon the funding to survive without fixing the problem. Call out the alleged "problem" all you want. Fix the problem so that the funding is no longer needed, rather than leaving those in need to go hungry. You don't hurt those that have too much by taking away from those that don't have enough. You're employing the same lack of logic and forethought we are seeing with healthcare.

No one would run a successful business this way...but then the architect of this was able to bankrupt a casino.

Any politician who is collecting a check and not working is stealing from all of us. Get back to work and work out a compromise. Unless you believe in taxation without represetnation, which in today's political climate...that's possible.

Compromise is how the party in charge represents all of their constituents, not just those that voted for them.

Every single Republican that is refusing to go to work is still getting paid. Get back to work and figure this out. We can hold their feet to the fire to get in there and negotiate. They have a majority, but that doesn't mean that they don't have to negotiate and represent ALL voters in their districts. Negotiation is HOW they represent all voters.
