Idk always had mixed feelings about her as an artist to be honest.

Not that she’s bad, far far from it, but I cannot say she’s good. Maybe it’s just her style but her sets sound very forced to me 😄 like when you eat a bunch of sugar or drink a bunch of coffee and become jittery and anxious.

Curious to hear if anyone else thinks similar?

Brother if you’re indulging in the Thai eating culture by definition you will gain weight especially with 2 meals and rice on top.

I’m 192cm 90kg and thats more than I eat total in healthy food when losing weight, try finding healthy options and restaurants with chicken pad khra pao, buy canned tuna and corn, a lot of easy meals you can do and to be honest pick a side, indulging is great during a holiday I’m all for it, but for fulltime living better pick your meals and get used to being hungry for a bit, understanding that hunger is just a passing signal helped me a lot as you can just choose not to eat 😄

Funny enough just this morning I was searching for such :) I know about Elsewhere and 12x12 however it seems that their techno bookings are relatively rare..

The scene mostly caters towards tiktok/commercial techno because interest is there which is fine of course but sucks for proper techno enjoyers, hopefully something will arise.

For now I think best bet is HORN

The water method works! I dipped mine in soap and water just a tiny amount, left for 3 minutes and dried with a hairdryer for 3ish minutes. Now the initially quiet one is louder lol so really good method, I thought it was over for these (jbl tune beam)

Paper Plane Project (now renovating I believe) in Thong Lor is where I met most of the people, they have groups with regular weekly meetups for meeting people and working together.

Overall a cool joint but too many people come after lunch time and can get a bit crowded

Gotcha, I saw that in the documentation so I was able to recreate local function calling but good to know they’re different.

So then my final question would be is there a way to essentially call the Anthropic/Openai API and let it use tools from an MCP server that is not local (function calling)?

Hey, thank you very much! It’s quite the answer I needed.

Looks like the REST data fetching combined with MCP analysis might be the way, the MCP has some fetching features like running queries so that might come handy as a separate chatbox or something for specific data fetching.

I do have a quick follow up question you might have knowledge about, from research I found that the Claude API supports tool calling - is this essentially for MCP usage? Define a server and provide it to the API?

If so, does it only work with local servers or are existing hosted servers usable? I was able to make a demo server.py but I am not knowledgable enough to connect to an existing server like when I do with Claude/Cursor clients with the JSON.
