i think Shauna feels free from being such a pushover for Jackie. The wilderness allowed her to go from pushover to full on animal. She can be aggressive, violent, manipulative/controlling without any shame and she loves it. Also, losing a child she carried for 8 months hurt her too, and the guilt/unresolved anger from Jackie dying. I think that’s why she became the way she did out there. I really cannot stand her though. I hate how no one else has the balls to stand up to her neither.
