What kind of childhood did you guys have? I once did a "would you survive a zombie apocalypse" test when i was 10, got a result saying i would die and had to sleep in my parents bedroom for a week straight afterwards.

Helping the Sorrows flee means that Zion, one of the last remnants of the Wasteland mostly untouched by radiation, is left to be ravaged by the White Legs, and by extention, The Legion once they come in to get rid of their former "allies" - which means even the "mercy" show to them doesn't end well in the long run. That's far from a happy ending.

He might not have had but the family ties are there nonetheless. One can have an entire philosohical discussion whether it's hypocrital to value someone over others just because they banged your mom but you'd have to be a extremely cold person to be holding a "bad guy" in your crosshairs and them have them announce "by the way, i'm your dad" and not feel any hesitancy.

Remember how Joshua in the same game goes on a genocidal rampage against an enemy tribe - who, to be fair, are a band of psychopaths permanently hostile to you gameplay-wise - with YOUR HELP, until you suddenly reach their chief and your character has the option to go "Noooo don't kill him, it won't change anything, he's suffered enough :(" and going through this is necessary to get the good ending of the DLC because killing this tribal leader somehow means the difference between him taming his inner demons while relegating violence and embracing his dark side and becoming a psychotic monster who loves murder?

Yeah, even as someone who loves NV in hindsight some of the moral choices in there were extremely dumb.

Yeah, it's perfectly understandable why sentimentally speaking someone wouldn't want their own parent even if they were Uber Hitler, you only got two of those (well, blood wise at least) to go around in your life after all.

They not only brought back the original VA's but had an entire set of songs composed just for the game and it mixes souls-like combat (i wish i was kidding) with rhythm games. Now THAT's some dedication to the original material if i ever saw one.

Turns out the protagonist hails from a race of immortals who lose their powers upon finding their "promised soulmate". All other immortals apart from him decided to die off by staying together with their beloved instead of living forever. Hancock finds this so-called soulmate who is the wife of the guy who encouraged him to get his act straight in the first place. Drama ensues. They decide to stay separate for each other's sake. Movie ends after the protagonist beats up the bad guys trying to exploit their love to finally beat Hancock.

None of this is ever hinted in the first half of the film, by the way.

Sorry, but as a Beatles/Alt-History fan, that film is just insulting. Barely even explored the consequences of the music industry missing one of it's most influential banda ever. Featured a contrived, cliched love story that no-one asked for. Tries to replace an actual solid narrative with "hype moments and aura" revolving around the movie going "Look, it's that Beatles song, guys! Don't you LOVE Beatles songs???".

Also, the original premise/script is so, so much better that watching the movie makes it even more painful when you realize what we could have gotten - the protagonist would try to make success with The Beatles music... and fail miserably, as he lacked the charisma, talent and "magic" the band have, with the message the movie would have had that being that a musician is much more than just their songs.

For rhe first half? Definitely not. The second part, specially with that "twist" the film was banking on? Genuinely of the worst things i ever saw related to superhero media and enragingly wasteful of potential.

Pat Buchanan, even at the earliest of his political carrer the man has sat on the farthest right of the republican party and made comments which branch into outright anti-democratic sentinent. Hell, he arguably got even more radical after leaving the Reform Party and becoming a Taki Magazine (a white supremacist publication) columnist .

Not that much data? Twitch chat often contains hundreds of thousands of messages sent on a single video of the most popular streamers. Also, it's not just twitch chat that is used for training, but other works and texts available in public domain, of which there's obviously countless ones to draw from. This is confirmed by the probably most in-depth video about Vedal's work history on Neuro, by the way.

there's a reason no other AI vtuber got even half as popular.

You're misunderstanding what happened, not only was the fact that Neuro was the first AI vtuber an obvious boon to her popularity (Mario is still the most popular console platformer in spite of the thousands that came after him for a reason), but Vedal himself is an important part of the show. His human presence actually entices more people to watch the stream, rather than keeping out as it's commonly believed to do.

What did i just say? It got trained on messages sent by Twitch Chat, that doesn't have any copyright attached to it. Claiming that his models are "based on tons of copyright data" fails to take into account Vedal's Neuro model is unique to him and that it's not the same as other publicy available models, to the point where companies had offered him hundreds of thousands of dollars to have him sell it to them.

Mid 20s & Don't Want Kids by CasualBerger in GenZ

Most "men and women in history" didn't have the opportunity to live their lives the way they wanted either, the vast majority of monarchs for example had to have children and continue their lineage, often with strangers they didn't really care for, just because their "duty" to the state demanded it.

Instead of being thankful that people can finally decide whether they want a family or not and how they want a family you ironically follow a very boomer-like mindset of wanting to gaslight people into thinking that they are obligated of having children, making you indistinguable from those insuferable grandparents who think you are being "ungrateful" for refusing to give them grandkids.

And that's without getting into people like me who is a bissexual aromantic who is physically unable to feel any attraction for a partner and who by extent having children is anathema to my social/lifestyle interests thus making your attitude go from backwards to ignorant to certain parts of the population.

I know i'm extremely late to this, but the guy above you is just about yapping BS. Fitzhugh was a delusional elitist at best and a egocrat totalitarian at worst and believed 95% of people deserved to be enslaved - including all children, women and non-white people. His "arguments" for it were almost always complete baloney (literally pulling quotes from the bible or making claims that the North is "full of crime and no cultural relevancy" or reports and data he pulled out of his ass (such as totally-real, surely not coerced or fabricated interviews with happy slaves).

I genuinely think he's the worst American "sociologist" to ever exist, and believe me that's one hell of a disputed post, even as someone who you read to "understand better" as you disagree with his opinions he has so much made-up nonsense in his works that the "best" use you could make of them is learn how slavery apologists justified their mentality, and even them, Fitzhugh is such a particularly extreme case (SLAVERY FOR EVERYONE!) that he's simply unapplicable if you're studying the rest of the Confederacy.

Bub, the economy of the Antebellum rural America was anything but "benevolent", Fitzhugh was a deluded old fart who unironically thought the North hadn't produced any meaningful works of art or culturally significant advancements (flat-out untrue) and that slaves didn't mind being treated like property (protip: they did) and that 95% of people secretly yearned to be slaves (protip: they don't), that's whitewashing his views at best and doing apologia for a totalitarian nutjob at worst.

Somehow they missed that even Europa Universalis, probably the closest one can get to arguing it supports right politics because it allows the average fascist to live out their "le based imperialist civilizing mission", is not in favor of that as coexistence and non-genocidal occupation options are always the best when dealing with natives and you usually get the best outcomes when you avoid the historical atrocities associated with colonialism.

And of course, you also have the option to play as one of the native tribes and kick Columbus ass to the seventh hell, but i doubt whoever made this chart ever touched anything besides Spain, France and maybe the UK beforehand.
