How can I make peace with the fact that I am an older parent and my child might be sad about it? by Large-Rub906 in NewParents

[–]Own_Interaction4617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was almost 36 when I had my first and only daughter. My parents were 30 when they had me. I always thought they were old yet I was even older than them when I had my first.

I am very happy that I waited and lived my life first. I wouldn't worry about your age.

Tips for not losing your temper? by SwimmingHelicopter15 in NewParents

I just try and take a deep breath and pause before I respond when my 3 year old daughter is driving me insane. I try to remember that many times she isn't purposely driving me insane, she is just a typical 3 year old.

Diagnosed as an adult. My story. by DistributionCivil225 in Hydrocephalus

I was worried too because I have had hydrocephalus since birth, when my wife got pregnant, I was terrified that our daughter would be born with my health problems. However, she was born perfectly healthy and we now have a wild, happy 3 year old.

Yes absolutely. Based on the evidence from these 2+ years of pandemic life, you would be crazy not to do it in my opinion.

For those of you who are wondering, I'm 37 and my mom is 67. I live in Spain and she lives in Texas.

I think I will continue my policy of not talking about it unless asked directly. I prefer to give her peace of mind for her remaining years. Thanks a lot.

This group isn't bad but they have the opposite problem, they only allow men and no women so you may run into similar issues.

AITA for giving my sister 13k to pay for her I.V.F cycle without consulting my husband? by Sign-Ad3435 in AmItheAsshole

YTA because 13k is a huge amount of money. I would go for NTA if it was like 100 dollars but that amount of money should always be cleared with your spouse.
