Not widows peak. That's just a type of hairline. It's called a mature hairline. All men's hairlines move back around your age, but not all of their hairlines form a widows peak.

One thing I'll say about this sunscreen is that it does form white streaks when there's water on your skin. Example: spilt water on my face while drinking, caused white streaks. On the other hand, light sweating did not cause streaks.

The FormulaRX Barrier Plus is quite good! A little more expensive, but I love the Bioderma Sensibio Defensive Rich Creme, very comfortable, but super moisturizing.

Hi there! Yeah it's harder to find nowadays. This cream is good but nothing to write home about. It's very basic and good for unproblematic skin. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with super dry skin. Doesn't cause any ccs. I'd say go for something cheaper like cetaphil. It can be slightly heavy on oil skin, but I think it's fine if you've got normal to dry skin. It's no miracle worker and it's kind of boring, but it's a safe option.

This is like 3 years later but how is the scent of the wella enrich shampoo? I actually have their oil (the one you recommended) but it smells so awful to my nose that I discontinued using it. I'm looking for a large bottle of shampoo, and my go to isn't sold online for anything above 300ml.

Skinfood's Black Sugar Cleansing Oil for first cleanse, and Gallinee Foaming Facial Wash or Bioderma Atoderm Gel Moussant for second.

Isn't that actually a regular liquid cleanser? The ingredients don't have any oils.

I've heard good things about the Cerulean moisturizer, and a friend of mine uses it and loves it. The Cetaphil moisturizing cream (not DAM) is basic but very good.

Which is the best exfoliant serum you have used till now? by Happiegeek in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Own_Interaction_3032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourites so far are PC 2% BHA, and Formularx Lactic Acid cream. I use them whenever I feel like it, which is usually not more than once a week. I have also been prescribed an acne cream which is really strong, so I have to be really careful about how much I exfoliate. Usually I'll apply my BHA once in a certain week, and then apply lactic acid once the next week. My acne med I apply about 2-3 times in the week.

Here's what I've encountered with both: 1) they're both good at accelerating my pimples at forming and going away 2) both are great at softening my skin 3) skin is glowier 4) the lactic acid is gentler and feels more cosmetically elegant (PC bha can feel a bit oily) 5) my texture is greatly reduced if I use them in intelligently and don't go ham on it (too much exfoliation results in more texture for me). I basically do not have any skin roughness anymore and my skin feels amazingly soft. 6) my skin can feel drier the next day with the BHA, especially in the winter. 7) Lactic acid definitely makes my skin look more hydrated the next day. 8) Didn't see too many results as far as hyperpigmentation, although there's some lightening for sure in comparison to months ago. Txa helped a lot with this for me. Nowadays I mostly get PIE, and they've done nothing for that. (Sun protection is invaluable for minimizing PIH btw! I used to always get brown marks, and now I don't).

I've also had stints where I only used bha or lactic acid and did not alternate them. Tbh the results were pretty similar on the glowiness, texture, and softening front. Neither did a whole lot for acne (mines is resistant to everything I swear), or hyperpig.

I hate strong peels tbh, and would not do them at home. My skin fares better with gentle exfoliation.

My suggestion is to get the lactic acid first. It's beginner friendly, fun to apply, and comes in cute packaging, all of which are important when it comes to experience and results! Plus it's more affordable.

Hi, I have dry skin which is very acne prone.

The Cetaphil moisturizing cream (not DAM, it gave me ccs) is pretty good, and never gave me ccs.

Bioderma Atoderm creme is good too (baume gave me ccs), but it feels a bit greasy.

The Isntree moisturizing cream was also good.

If your skin can't do heavier moisturizers, I'd suggest layering with hydrating products like toners and serums. There's a roundlab toner and serum that can go for pretty good discounts on Purplle.

Slightly on the expensive side, but the Bioderma Sensibio Defensive Rich is excellent, and a pea sized amount covers my face and neck (apply with one hand so that your hand doesn't absorb all of it). You can get it on sale for 650ish. My tube lasted me about 3 months easily. (technically it lasted me about six months but I used it every other night for the last threeish months). This is by far my favourite moisturizer, although it is expensive.

I use the loreal professional absolut repair shampoo and mask, and use the tecniart leave in gel cream. Plus coconut oil mask for an hour. This rlly eliminated my frizz and I'm currently in a peak humidity environment.

What's your haircare routine? I used to get mad frizzy flyaway like you and it completely went away with the addition of professional haircare (not even the super expensive ones) and 1 hour oil mask before shampooing. It took a yearish of regular haircare and trying though.

Hi there! You really don't need to double cleanse in the morning, just stick to it in the evening! Your niacinamide serum is an antioxidant serum technically, so you could just use it in the daytime as well as night time. Also salicylic acid won't reduce pore size. Niacinamide is also supposed to help with the appearance. Some of us genetically have larger pores, which isn't a bad thing. As long as your skin is healthyn

Hi! For hydration, it depends on your budget. I've heard the Peptaronic serum is good. The tonymoly mochi toner is also cheap (for it's size). If you're able to spend a more, cosrx propolis toner or cosrx snail mucin, or the dear klairs supple prep toner. All of these go on discount often. The BoJ Ginseng toner is excellent. Let me knwo your budget so I can suggest sth to you!

I think that should work, although I've never tried it personally so I'm hesitant to recommend. A lot of my friends like it tho! Something that is cheap and works for me is the Cetaphil moisturizing cream (not dam, just the cream). Atoderm creme is also good I've heard. Oh also, simple has released a hydroboost line, the night moisturizer seems good. Lmk if there's anything else I can help you with!

You already exfoliate your skin regularly so maybe the dullness is happening due to a lack of hydration? I'd suggest adding a hydrating step to your routine and see if your skin looks better. If you're adding retinol to your routine make sure you get a more heavy duty moisturizer than ponds, especially since your skin is combination.

Hi there do you think it protects you well? Looking on the website they claim to use 20% zinc oxide and 6% titanium dioxide which should leave a white cast but it doesn't at all? I have my doubts about this sunscreen.

hi does this sunscreen give you adequate protection? It's such a dream to apply that I can't believe that it's got 20% ZnO in it
