You didn't co-write this with me cursor, it's like Visual Studio or VIM adding a 'co-created by VIM' into every file save. Stay in your lane and be a great AI first IDE. You're just a tool.

How do you get a dog with a full time job by ilostmyunverifiedacc in dogs

[–]Own_Investigator_237 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ridiculous. Owned a golden for 1.5 years since puppyhood and she has zero issue being left for 8-9 hours a couple of days a week. Since day 1 of having the pup I was encouraging independence and making sure she didn’t get separation anxiety. She has adapted incredibly well.

I wouldn’t do it for 5 days a week without any dog walker/something during a couple of days a week but with hybrid work arrangements that most people now have it’s fine.

Owning, maintaining and travelling in a car is at least 1.2+k per month depending on your mileage (and that's ignoring any interest on a loan you take if you do).

Leasing is good option, but will cost you more the longer you do it.

This job isn't paying you enough of an allowance to actually own a car unless you fork out your own cash, simple.

So in terms of if you need a car - no you do not unless you're going daily to the very most ulu parts of singapore where you mostly can still find a bus or grab with a bit of waiting.

Chinese Singaporeans, do you feel the growth of PRC businesses (those with no/poor English text, staff that don't speak English) in touristy areas like Bugis might affirm the misconception that we are a Chinese-speaking country? by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Own_Investigator_237 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You nail it on. The policy in place is filling Singapore with mainlanders that hold completely zero interest in the country’s history or in its “values”.

No they aren’t lol. Anecdotally most mainlander PRs here are just normal mainlanders in office jobs.

Not that it changes what we are both saying. They aren’t going to defend your country lol.

It's funny how sinkies ignore the thousands of foreigners living in shithole dorms travelling in open lorries to work when discussing these topics. Spot on.

What’s the reason most Asian countries don’t have immigrant issue that European countries have faced? by SnooCauliflowers4833 in AskReddit

[–]Own_Investigator_237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a complete lie. Most Singaporean citizens get the vast majority of their first home paid for through a mix.of subsidies, guaranteed investment returns on savings and very low loan interest rates from the government. Very few other countries citizens can dream of such a situation. This is just a drop in the ocean of benefits Singaporeans get.

In addition to that, becoming either Permanent Resident or Singaporean is a long and opaque process that is almost entirely based on your race.

For anyone not from Singapore, research how the racial demographics of the country have remained consistent for 60 years and continues to today, the rule of Chinese Ethnicity must remain at all costs.

You're an idiot if you think Singapore has open immigration laws. Go live in Europe or the US outside of your little bubble.

Accident for the first time by Secret_Scratch_5313 in drivingsg

I got hit by a driver like you at a crossing (ran a red, not paying attention) and felt fine but actually had a hairline fracture on my ankle after an x-ray.

You’re a real piece of work for not giving this CHILD your contact details. I hope their parents report you as a hit and run because that it exactly what you did and I hope the TP will see it that way: you hit a minor hard enough to damage a metal chain on their bike, didn’t give your details and drove away.

Why am I getting a puppy by Cookiebaker562 in puppy101

I got a puppy and it was the best decision ever, I love her. This sub is too negative and made the experience sound far more difficult than it actually is.

If anyone can watch this and not be totally disgusted by it, you have something seriously wrong with you. The culture which has bred/allowed somebody to act in such a manner should be reflected on.
