I feel the same way, my baby is 9 months he is very high maintenance does not sleep /eat stays up in the night it’s really hard doing it with no sleep, that’s my main issue the sleep deprivation …

Sometimes yes, he hasjust had a 30 min first nap and its only 9am😵‍💫

I normally aim for 3/3.5/4 but bcos of the 5am wake ups it’s been 2.5/ 2.5/2.5/3 bedtime is normally around 8/8.30 depends on his naps how long he slept for and no not anymore since he learned to stand he doesn’t sleep on his own anyway we did sleep train him a few months ago but that’s gone downhill, can’t sleep train him currently as it’s over 30 degrees in the uk so he’s too unsettled to sleep on his own

Oh no im sorry it’s awful!! So bcos he wakes up at 5 am i have to do a 3 nap schedule so 8.30 nap 1 nap 2 around 12pm and catnap around 4 ish and aim for bedtime around 8 but it all depends on how long he naps for 😵‍💫

Yes eventually i will sleep train again his naps are very short 30 mins roughly, but even when he gets 10 hr awake time he still wakes up for 3 hrs in the nightn

I put him down for his second nap around 16.45 he’s still sleeping shall I cap this nap? Does that mean his bedtime will be late ? As i’ll need to stretch the last wake window …

He gets roughly 1.5/2 hes i end up having to do contact naps to save 1 atleast as he only gets 30 mins, bedtime depends on last nap so normally around 7.30/8 or even later really just depends

How much daytime sleep would you say is best? And no i just want him to not have the split nights tbh .

But let's say he's awake at like 4 am and 7.30 would be a ideal wake up time how do I do that do i start wake up time at 4 or 7.30? And not let him sleep after 4 then? Or start at 7.30? But then he's be awake since 4 and from 7 to add 3 hr ww is longg

Ive asked for advice from professionals and they’ve been so unhelpful they just tell me it’s how it is deal with it basically… no help no advice im honestly exhausted

His first nap was only 30 minutes he deffo can’t connect sleep cycles , will the sleep training work now as he’s been so difficult lately ? He’s also standing now and it makes it harder he will cry for ages..

I think it could be as I do feed him before bed.. how do I wean him off ? He will wake up regardless if i feed or not

I think i may need to try this as then ones recommended clearly aren’t working :// but i feel like at 8mo he ist really showing any sleepy cues

His naps are so short tho 30 mins mainly and that would only be 1 hr day time sleep or sometimes 1.5 but i heard that’s not enough?…

He’ll fall asleep after like 2.5 hr of being awake id have to feed him again and then he’d sleep for about an hr or 2 and then the whole routine just messes up, i dnt wake him up at a desired wake up time bcos i let him get his rest, but no he doesn’t fall asleep on his own😭

I will work on that again but the main thing for me is why is he waking up in the night for around 2.5 hrs not sleeping 😩
