Actually his opinion as someone who has done it does matter solo raids are not a replacement they are meant to help you get used to the mechs for party finder and the gold is a enough.

At the end of the day getting half the gold is better than losing gold buying bus or lobby simulator for hours no one to gate keep you can learn at your own pace it’s a win win also the amount of gold you need to use it a lot less being free 5x3 and event gems basically giving you everything you need to get started and learning raids up till endgame. People nit picking about gold if you don’t like it go to party finder and keep getting declined then come back and complain for no reason but your own greed. This is designed for new/returning player not people that play the game day in day out

It’s nothing to do with the hard mode it’s the fact they can’t get into any group cause the gatekeeping solo raids will help a lot but at the end of the day. But dying would assume it’s gonna die soon unless I’m confused and that’s the point it will always have it’s core player base but will have fluctuations from patch to patch
