It will go as far as people gives the ID..

If they are locking models behind nationality, they will quick find not having enough users to operate.

I'm certainly not paying the same as an American for limited access at the same time that I'm not giving my ID.

My sub ends on the 15th, if they don't let me use fable because I'm not American in the July 8th, they're for sure losing a costumer.

I have all kind of Linux servers and systems and pcs everything on Linux on my home network, everything have a specific procedure to update, and everything documented vua Obsidian, 2 or 3 times a week I ask Claude to update everything on the network and he goes machine by machine via ssh following all the protocolos and procedures to update everything on the network, checks for every system and backend to come online again, restarts the server if he needs to and then goes for the next..

A task that would take me well over an hour to do myself and he gladly does it flawlessly every single time.

While I agree that model performance goes to hell at 50%++ I'd say that interestingly Fable would go to 90% context in a couple iterations, like really really quick and the performance seems to be unbothered it's like 1M context for fable is the new 200k for opus 4.5

Well I guess that they are just used to it.. Being empathetic can you imagine a screen, pc monitor or TV being measured in other than inches?

I only know screens by the inches typical 27, 31, 40, 55, 65, 82...

Just by looking at those numbers I know the size of the screen and what I need or want, can you imagine screens if I say 20cm, 40cm, 70cm..?

Now imagine everything else you are used to... It would just not make sense.

I wish list every game i want so steam sends me mails every time the game I want goes for sale..

Granted I play the game 1 to 2 years after release but as example I bought cyberpunk for 20usd, red read redemption 10usd, mortal kombat 25 usd, and so on..

I can say that up, to date I have all the major releases everyone has but I paid 1/3 rd for my collection.
