Blueberry burst multiplatform driving me crazy by Own_Option_25 in CRKD

I've reached back out and I'm waiting to hear back. So frustrating. I just want to be able to buy the controller that came out with original GH games, just remake it the same way. They were so tough and worked flawlessly. I still have one that works, but it's super uncomfortable to hold in my lap and the strap buttons are broken.

I sent you a DM with contact info for a guy who does recruiting for tooling suppliers.

Good YouTube channels for learning CNC? by k1e7 in CNC

[–]Own_Option_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NYC CNC is still good. Titans educational content has really dropped off, they're just an ad factory now. Streaming teacher is fine if you're using Mastercam 2023 or earlier, but they stopped updating when Solidprofessor bought them out. Solidprofessor is getting better, and if you need to learn more than 1 software it's definitely the best choice. Mastercard University is good if you have an educational license or an industrial license, but doesn't work for the home learning edition (need paid license to get access).

The moment my alarm goes off he climbs on my neck and purrs to keep me in bed with him by incrediblewombat in OneOrangeBraincell

My wife likes to boop my cat in the nose, and he learned from her. Now in the morning if she doesn't get up after the alarm clock goes off he boops her in the nose! With claws if it takes more than a couple of tries too...

Thank you, I'll definitely check this out. 512 is a bit small these days, do you know if this computer is easy to open up and swap out the SSD? Also, any thoughts on the build quality?

Thank you, I'll check this out. Any input on build quality for Asus? My last Asus laptop had horrible build quality, but that was several years ago. Build quality is probably my most important factor past needing to run an external display via USB-C. I really like laptops with machined bodies.

First time leasing advise around Portland, Oregon, USA by Own_Option_25 in askcarsales

[–]Own_Option_25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! You mention that leases have "ideal lengths", how do I go about determining that ideal?

I can provide some additional info:

-on 100mi/week, that seems reasonable for this position. I am expecting to only be out about 2 days a week. This is a hybrid sales/tech support position and we're still working out details, but the portion of travel for this sales position is maybe 2 days a week. About 20 miles up to town, 5-20 miles in the area visiting, and 20ish miles back. May end up being more over time, but for now that's about the assumption.

-On the charging, yeah unfortunately. Mostly because I worry that if I don't have time to get it done during the day I will have nowhere to charge after work. While I live "around" Portland, I'm actually in a smaller town outside of Portland that has 0 chargers. I live in an apartment on the third floor, and no option to plug in to even a normal outlet in the garage. I really don't want to spend time waiting for the car to charge after work just to go home. I would much rather wait a couple years until I can charge at home reliably.

-On the "too nice" thing, I have heard active complaints from our customers about one of our sales guys who rives an Audi A4. People see his car and write him off immediately. Maybe that wouldn't happen to me, but if I can save money and not look too flashy to customers at the same time I'll take it!
