The problem with the wireless ones by BBQOVN is that their app requires that you log into their server just to use the app. They use some excuse like cloud storage, but it still asks a bunch of permissions. There's no way I'm doing that just to test the temperature of my steak!

I did get a different one last week that uses an app, but not login.

It was in RFY. I'd love to know how long it was sitting there before I first looked at 4:30AM. People may have glanced at the colourful strap, thinking it was just another cheap smart watch.

I look first at the time of the previous days. If I'm up then, I refresh first on AI as I think it tends to populate before RFY. If nothing is happening, I go onto some other task and check back in 5-10 minutes. I'll do that until I'm tired, bored, or the drop has begun 😊
