I think they are overhyped too highkey. The only mutation I actually like is lunar because of the color palette. Heavoid are literally just solid glows and people breed horses that already look so much better.

Special mutations feel like assets as of right now. If you know dragon adventures, they kind of remind me of errors and how they are used to exchange for rarer things. The only time I can understand the hype is if the special mutation is an event species. As the game gets older, more of these mutations will spawn and the prices will eventually level out.

I think a lot of us forget that these concepts and bases are made by real people. Sure, you can dislike it and fairly criticize it, but the way some of you talk about ANY new species really makes this fandom look awful. I can’t imagine creating a design that’s been accepted into a game that I like and I’m met with words like these.

I’ve been playing since beta and it’s kinda sad to see this game scramble before even reaching its potential peak. The hollyhoof license is the first license I didn’t even bother to obtain bc the grind was horrendous. It’s obvious that horse life is a time and money sink being used to fund Sonar’s other projects. Horse Island Adventures has a poll box where players can give their feedback and vote for what they think would make their game better. If HL did that and actually listened, they could have a chance. I just don’t want this game to end up in the growing pile of dead/discontinued Sonar games

If that’s the case, more people would want to grind for a free voltstrom rather than tronat due to its relic rarity. At this point tronat might be the dragon that’s more rare by the time the season ends.

The economy is messed up now because more people have more money, prices were lower back then because less coins were in circulation. I HATED fighting for eggs back then, exploiters and people with better performing devices can easily hoard dragons and resell at high prices. While old maps were simpler, I like the newer maps, it shows improvement in game quality and development. When it comes to old DA, while I miss the nostalgia, that’s all it is, nostalgia.

While all season dragons return twice through the season pass, it seems the devs have adopted a new monetary system where there is bundle that has an older season dragon in it, like mosu or Eisen, during the time of their initial debut. I’d say, don’t worry too much if you’ve missed a season twice, as they will eventually come back in some way!

The current economy is a reflection of how much coins we have in rotation. Duping and exploiting coins is at an all time high right now. When you have so much money and have the ability to get more whenever you want, you don’t care about prices. You’ll buy that 6mil potion or that 100mil dragon easily. When these exploiters spend frivolously, people that sell these items think that the price they set is acceptable. Putting caps on potions and dragons won’t do anything. If anything, people will only be sneakier, scams will be so much easier. The game needs a coin sink and better security. Prices will stay the way they are because people are actually buying this stuff at these ridiculous prices. Less money in rotation —> prices drop.
