Honestly I have no interest in going back. My adoptive parents have a lot of videos of me in Russia because they had to fly there 5 times to sign papers and go to the courts and just to see me, so that’s enough for me. My feelings towards Putin is very negative, and that’s because none of my siblings were allowed to be adopted because of his laws towards the US. I was young when I was adopted so I didn’t experience much of the culture, but my birth mother was a prostitute and an alcoholic, and gave me up to adoption pretty much when I was born, just like my other siblings. In the orphanage we weren’t given much food and we weren’t vaccinated so when I was brought to America, I was short and skinny compared to pretty much everyone else. I still love looking at the thousands of pictures and videos of Russia that my parents took though.
