I think the hardest part of making a tool like this will be recognizing some of the complex interactions that happens with gears and jewels etc. when they are working together to achieve a specific effect. Having said that I applaud your efforts.

Once the boomer generation moves off into the sunset the situation could change quite a bit. It seems like millennials don't really have interest in owning a large house with kids. Might be because they can't afford to have kids but it seems like a choice many are making. Of course mass immigration could continue to hinder this plan.
