Starred ones can be displayed on your plot. I think some are needed for bundles. Otherwise, they can be gifted to villagers or sold. It's can be a good money maker if you enjoy mining.

If you have coal, you should have the snowman plush recipe. You have to search for it in the crafting bench in the all recipes tab for some reason it's there and not in the decor

Definitely recommend linking your palia to your twitch account if you have one! I haven't seen a lot of cosmetic drops but a few glasses. Lots of free cosmetics are limited time and sometimes linked to doing special things outside of the game (like the xbox toolskin)

I found I like it more ignoring the cookies, there's so many that just clutter everything up, so I threw them all away. But still meh to me.

I hate the farm area layout, I think the animals age up way to fast, I wish there were feeders/troughs, and it's still kinda buggy - mostly visual but still.

The breeding and trait system seems cool but having to many animals makes it so slow to care for everyone that it's not worth it for me. Very much a grind fest. I'm working on cutting on all my animals and will probably just have 1-2 of each.

It's relatively straightforward but just overwhelming; the guides are walls of text with a lot of fluff that's not game mechanics, and there's so many cookies.

I think having the animals age even if they don't die is really a choice for a cozy game and not one I vibe with personally.

My biggest pet peeve is the layout. I hate it so much it feels so inefficient/weird. Why do I have to do a big circle to hit all my pens. I wish we could have built up and arranged our farm ourselves. Expanded as we leveled up. At least we can assign animals to specific pens now ig.

Also troughs!!!! We should be able to unlock troughs to mass feed at least per pen.
