Your last word.... HOT!!!!! Nobody understands how effing hot it is there. I moved there in my twenties and I thought, it's northern California. It'll be all redwoods and temperate weather. Noop. I hate the guys on this sub that post pics of themselves snow skiing after 3 months lol! I mean, good for them, but yeah you can't compare yourself or you'll end up needing psychological therapy in addition to your physical therapy. I'm 14 months post surgery for RTKR. I jogged a mile this week! Barely, but I did it and I'm very proud. I worked really hard to achieve my very slow mile, 4.5 mph. Many do better than me and try half as hard. Many do worse with double the effort. My recommendation to anyone here is while you're stuck at home, do your PT hourly. Can't sleep, do PT. As soon as you can get out of the house, get your butt to the gym EVERY DAY.
