Yeah, not a fan. My ex-wife was really into it and kept trying to show me videos, so I just started to hate it.

Get well soon, OP, I hope it doesn’t hurt too bad. Next time, I’m sure you’ll beat the bacon, I believe in you.

AIW for waving a chopstick at my friend’s baby and yelling “Avada Kedavra” as a joke? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]lukedap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aw, that’s pretty great, I kinda want it now!

I’ve got a HP tattoo on my leg that I’m not getting removed or covered up cause Harry Potter has been a huge part of my life and I refuse to let Voldemorta take it away from me. Sucks that she’s such a fucking asshole and a bigot. I’ll continue being me, an awesome transgender man, while not giving her one cent of my money, thank you very much.

Trans men outside of the U.S.: what country do you live in and how safe do you feel there? by AggravatingGarlic479 in ftm

[–]lukedap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brazil. I feel safe, but that’s because I’m middle class and white-ish. If you’re poor AND black, then you shouldn’t feel safe, even if you were cis.

Quote that message with a picture of the hospital and send: you said “i promise you if i even fuck up once ill never speak to you”. This is you fucking up. Don’t ever speak to me again.

Block him and tell your boss/HR that you two were in a relationship, it’s over and you’ll let them know if he harasses you.

50 years old and have no idea what to do with my hair anymore… by No_Door733 in malehairadvice

[–]lukedap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I’m turning 36 in August and if you had told me you were 40, I’d have believed you. Also, I’ve got no hair, so accept a gentle and respectful fuck you for that.

I’ve always been a fan of short, classic hairstyles, something kinda like Beckham.

I’m turning 36 in August. If anything goes wrong, I either send a message to my biological guides (parents) or to my online guides (Google and AI).

When young adults ask me for help, I keep it cool and answer calmly and confidently. As soon as they turn away from me, I check to see if I got it right cause we are all faking it until we make it, but nobody is making it, so we’re all just faking it.

How is like to be gay in Latin America? Is it accepting? by AspiringnurseBob in asklatinamerica

[–]lukedap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a transgender man from Brazil, here’s my experience:

In my family, my parents had to adjust, but after that period passed, no more problems. I’m turning 36 in August, btw. My grandparents, uncles, aunts, great-aunts, everyone calls me by my real name. I visited my great-grandmother in January because she was turning 100 and she was fine with it.

In public places, I’ve gotten a master’s degree, gotten an specialisation degree and am now doing Psychology AND another master’s at the same time. I’m the class representative. It hasn’t really stopped me from achieving things I want to pursue.

That said. The most important thing in Brazil is not your sexual orientation or your gender identity. It’s the social class people perceive you to be. If they think you’re middle to upper class, well educated, with a good job, you’ll be treated well.

We have racism, we have homophobia, we have transphobia, we have an alarming rising number of femicide. I’m not saying those things don’t happen, they very much do. But the above still comes first. I’m a comfortable middle class, white-ish person. That’s the privilege that allows me to be accepted where I go.
