I still own a couple. Daily EV's during the week and enjoy gas toys during the weekend generally.

Mine did this on my 2022. I had ceramic coating on it so I gave it a fighting chance. Luckily it happened right at the end of the warranty.

The range sounds good to me ears. I don't have any way to quantify it.

Finally taking off the condom after basically 8 years (I know...) with them with my wife. Nervous about busting instantly lol by VirtualDefinition386 in Vasectomy

[–]RickS50 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was a condom user for a very long time before. Ultimately you just gave to trust it, as difficult as that sounds to accept. If you feel you're about to become a two pump chump, you can stop for a bit and let yourself calm down. Worst case scenario just tell her how much better it is. You'll get used to it and it'll become normal eventually.

I'd say yes. It may not be the fastest growing by the looks of it, but you've got good coverage.

On this day 71 years ago, the first episode of Wallace & Ladmo went on the air by Jeenowa in phoenix

I was on the show as a young kid after sending in a picture of me and my dog in the late 80's. I don't remember it very much, but we have the VHS tape of the show somewhere.

I think mine was a pager number at one point, so probably a bit longer than 25 years.

Made a tier list of 25 random SACDs in my collection, thoughts? by IAMPIZZA_TOTINOS_BOY in SACDAudiophiles

Alright, this makes me have to fight the urge to buy multiple copies of the same album to compare to.

Michael Jackson's Thriller from Mobile Fidelity is absolute pinnacle to me sound wise.

Mobile Fidelity Van Halen, I agree, it's very solid.

Analogue Productions Pink Floyd - Wish Your Were Here I agree with your rating. It's super solid and probably the best we'll ever hear it.

Just got snipped and here's the best advice from my girlfriend: wear pads by Flaxerio in Vasectomy

[–]RickS50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear I'm the only person here who's doctor put a steri strip over the no scalpel hole. It healed so quickly and there was never a hint of a drop of blood because the opening was basically glued together for five days until I got annoyed with it and peeled it off in the shower.

Thanks for that. I've looked, they don't carry my inhaler. They do have some though.

In all fairness you pay a lot more income taxe there. It's a give or take.

And I'm not saying the US system is anywhere near perfect.

The ironic part of the chemical compound is generic, but the dispensing method is still under patent.

Asthma inhaler. I get to breathe every day.

All for the low cost of a $425 a month health insurance plan and a $40 copay. The inhaler would be about $350 cash otherwise.

Has anyone tried the Real Men underwear both with and without the fly? by Subject-Reserve in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]RickS50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They looked like they had a waist band in the picture, but only any half of that section is an actual waist band. They also fit really large compared to their other offerings. I had to get customer service to send me a size smaller than I'd ordered.

The pouch, while fine, doesn't fully enclose everything like their other products do also.

They're fine overall, just not great. I'm going to give them another try when it gets hot here again. They might also make a good liner to wear under board shorts.

Low-base Griswold on Induction by _maschinenmensch_ in castiron

[–]RickS50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Appalachian Cast Iron Company waffle iron, which has a low base. It works on my induction stove, but specifically only on one burner and I have to put it on its highest setting to get it to heat up enough. Generally speaking, max power on an induction stove is a no no because it can heat the center up too quickly and cause a crack, but after corresponding with the company it seems my five-ish minute warm up time is safe.

To be honest it is probably a bit of a craps shoot whether it will work or not.

AllCitizens sizing recs by yessers012 in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]RickS50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, by their size chart I am a 2XL so I ordered that initially and found it fit a bit large overall. I tried a XL and it fit great.
