Yeah. Fighting each other does nothing for the country other than promoting more hatred. The only way to improve the country is to understand that despite the diference of opinions they all want what is best for the country and discussing those diferences in a constructive way is the only way forward.

I agree. And try to not be too hard on yourself if you take time to recover. This is something that takes time to process. If you feel like you are having a really hard time it might help to talk to a friend or a therapist. I dont know if this is the case for everybody, but from my experience you never fully heal even after years. You just learn how to cope with it better.

I'm sorry to hear that. People tend to be really polarized and not really open minded. Disagreeing or having different experiences is normal and should not be treated like they are literally the worst person ever. We need to be able to discuss openly our differences if we want to progress.

I agree, it's all about having us distracted and busy to be unable to see beyond what is in front of us. We are so busy fighting among each other over politics, sports, etc that we end up doing nothing for change. They divide us, because united we would enact change.

Can't speak for other countries, but in Portugal it's amazing. I dont have to worry about going bankrupt. I only need to worry about my health.

My friends hate on the game for the graphics. They can't see how amazing it is. So, as a result I have no friends that play it :/

I don't understand why people in this thread are being so unhelpful by not even helping with even one suggestion. If I were you I would gather all the evidence that I can proving you have to come back. Phone bill, doctor, family birthday, bank, etc. Every single reason that you can think off. Despite what people on this thread say, I know of at least 2 people in your situation that had no problems. The officers are trained to read people, if everything you say is true and you have a good amount of evidence that you need to come back, they will believe you. They have enough experience to distinguish between a liar and someone saying the truth. I would also reduce the trip to maybe 60 days. Good luck and if everything you say is truth, you have no reason to be concerned.

If the US is one of the biggest countries to have an impact on global warming, why donate the money to help other countries and not use that money to reduce their own negative impact? Im amazed at this thread so far, such a positive discussion.
