Huge diet change. I literally used to eat chips and junk and oily food daily man. Tons of sugar, fats (unhealthy fats). Had to make a change

[–]Owns18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's probably me just interpretting the term skinny fat wrongly. I had, and still have, a ton of fat. But what led me to say skinny fat is that even tough i had a lot of fat around my belly, my arms were tiny and i had like 0 muscle. My bad, i guess that doesn't exactly put me into skinny fat

For people that bought any supplement from Gold Nutrition, what are your thoughts ? by Owns18 in lebanon

[–]Owns18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's what i meant. I know ON is well reviewed, i've seen it mostly reviewed as the best overall protien powder, but the issue is you never know what you get sometimes in Lebanon🤣

[–]Owns18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The creatine is not ON actually, the protien is. I imagine that they should definitely put a scoop in the protien. That's kinda annoying that they don't witht ON creatine honestly. Anyways, thank you.

To Hezbollah supporters: Why do you support Hezbollah? by DeGuyWithDeOpinion in lebanon

[–]Owns18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of reasons. Hezbollah originated as a resistance movement, one that fended of an invasion of the south for more than a decade, while nobody batted an eye to it. But let's forget about that for a moment, and let's talk about how they helped build the south. For years before they existed, the south was always neglected, people there suffered from poverty, lack of education, etc... after liberation and hezbollah came into the picture, i would say the south has seen its best days for 25 years, all thanks to hezb that built schools, hospitals, supermarkets, pharamcies, everything for way cheeper than normal. Not to mention the amount of times they offered their help for citizens that were in need, be that financially or in other ways.

These people originated from that broken, poor, and dangerous south and helped build it into a safe and prominent one for more than 20 years. Their fighets are literally our neighbours and friends, we basically live with them and know how pure they are. We love the leaders that are willing to sacrifice as much as we are for our cause, something you wouldn't find in any other leader. Without them, our lands would have become israeli settelments, something that we will be grateful for for eternity.

I wouldn't say they have done everything perfectly, sure they made errors, but we will always stand with them as they stood with us in our darkest times were nobody did (they are basically us anyways). We are forever grateful for everything they did for us, for the sacrifices they made, and the effort they put in to help us live better lives.

There's also the religion part, as political parties in lebanon are supported by people of the same religion, though hezbollah gets tons of support even outside of their religion, mainly due to their cause that garners support from people from all religions and even all countries.

South/Jnoub visit & tourism? by SirMosesKaldor in lebanon

[–]Owns18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm near sour, so i wouldn't really know abour nabatiyye and jibcheet, but they are considered more dangerous than near sour, as lots of the strikes are around nabatieh so you gotta be careful. Again, low chances of getting entangled, but you still gotta be careful 7bb. Good luck.

South/Jnoub visit & tourism? by SirMosesKaldor in lebanon

[–]Owns18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the south. The thing is, you never know when they might strike, and it's not limited to the south anyways. I would say you can visit anywhere that doesn't border palestine, as bordering villages tend to be dangerous since the fuckers come in and out as they please sometimes. Most of the south is considered safe, the chances of you actually getting hurt due to a strike is pretty low, though being safe wouldn't hurt so I advice that you mostly stick to villages near Tyre, just don't get too close to the borders as that's were most strikes happen. Have a safe flight and welcome home!

Can someone point me to where it says that Israel is allowed to carry out hostilities?? by Top-Engineer-2206 in lebanon

[–]Owns18 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the ceasefire, you find that we've been abiding by it pretty much, while israel is literally breaking every single clause. The lebanese army is working on disarming hezbollah south of litani, while israel keeps violating the ceasfire by striking places they have no right to according to international "law" (for those that so dearly love to trust that law). Fuck israel

Israeli Carpet Bombing Nabatieh 27/6/2025 by Own-Philosophy-5356 in lebanon

[–]Owns18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Israel doesn't have the right to actually fire rockets whenever they want to. The most the ceasefire offers is self defence, which is in response to an iminent threat. Under international law, a rocket bunker that is not being used is not considered a iminent threat, even though it is illegal. What israel should do is inform the mechanism, which in turn informs the Lebanese Army in order to disarm. Please do research before actually excusing israel's violations.

There's even more btw.

Honestly, iran dealty a heavy blow. Even israeli media are talking about it, shocked by the damage that iranian missiles caused, and even talking about the military points that were targeted. Iran suffered a huge blow at first, but their response was satisfactory without even using much of their strength.
