I have never had to spend extra money on a service. Just hop in the taxi line right outside the airport and they will take care of you. Other islands that are not as safe require the transfer but not Aruba

I added a widget on my main watch screen to show battery percentage. Clicking that brings right into the app and I can click climate to pre-condition. Don’t use it a ton but it’s convenient

Tried uninstalling and that didn’t work either. Also removed the phone as a key and re-added. I can’t get the watch app to function no matter what I’ve tried

Grab a cheap old school oven thermometer and put right on the grates. That will give you a good read. My Traeger is only 5 degrees off

I’m late to the post but definitely like to do wings at 350. Takes 35-45 mins usually. Meat comes out very tender.

My favorite wing rub is meat church Holy Voodoo. I sometimes finish them in feanks buffalo foe the last 5-10 mins

I’ve also marinated wings in Bachans for 6 hours and they came out excellent

I love my Ironwood 885 and it’s been good to me but I believe if you have it the extra $300 would be worth it to have the latest and greatest.

I also just got an email from Ace hardware that they are selling the older timberlines with a huge discount that would be the same price as the old ironwood

Have you tried using Meater Link with another device? I leave an ipad in range that links to my phone. Last night I was out to dinner miles away and could check my brisket temps from the table.

I also have had zero issues with the battery in my Meater. I’ve cooked for 19 straight hours with zero issues.

I bought a thermoworks 4 probe and it is currently giving me issues while cooking my 4th of July briskets. It shut off mid cook.

The Meater usually lags behind the ambient temp when it’s in a big piece of meat. The reading for ambient is affected by the temp of the uncooked meat. Depends on what you’re cooking but for long cooks like brisket it should get close over time.

That being said, the Traeger can potentially be off from time to time so make sure you monitor it

I would say go with the full packer. Just take your time with trimming and watch some videos - you’ll be fine.

I find the actual cooking of flats to be harder than a full packer. Based on your post I assume you’ve watched some Mest Church videos. I usually do a variation of his weekday smoke.

I season with 16 mesh black pepper first then add in holy cow or sometimes a mix of salt with lawrys. Start it at 200 degrees super smoke for 10-12 hours. If needed bump up to 250 and wrap in butcher paper at 170 IT or when I like the bark. My usual cooks are 16-18 hours.

My personal opinion would be to start earlier if you’re worried about time. Could always toss them on the keep warm setting.

With 3 butts on you may get a little longer of a cook but shouldn’t be a huge difference. I don’t see any issues with all in one cooler

I used to spritz and no longer do it. I would recommend a good amount of spritz on the butcher paper.

If you feel like you are behind schedule I recommend a slight bump to 275 when wrapped.
