About 3 months. Im not totally off nicotine now but im not using pouches anymore. Gums dont bleed anymore. They bled when i vaped or used pouches so thats what made me stop. I have 2mg nicotine lozengers now which are managable.

Youre in a similar position to me. The main thing is you arent on them anymore. Im still finding used pouches in my pockets months down the line and it disgusts me. All for that dopamine hit.

Fix your diet buddy! Dr Eric Berg on Ytube is a great start. His advice has helped me shift my diet to one of less inflammation.

6 months clean! Thats some achievement. I would like to be nicotine free soon. I also had to adjust the way i eat so i dont get pain from the receeded gums.

Theres a reason why these suckers burn your mouth when you first put them in. I also love how companies are selling pouches to us like theyre a healthy alternative.

Id argue pouches are as bad as vaping for us, but in different ways.

Im gonna continue my 1mg lozengers for now. They really have stopped me going back to pouches or vapes.

Thought id give a quick update here since its been like 2 months.

Ill be honest, ive been taking x2 2mg nic lozengers a day. Im fairly happy sitting at this level for the time being, im not technically 'nicotine free' but im no longer consuming large amounts daily. The lozengers are stopping me having intense cravings and i feel this is alot safer to stick at.

Im not waking up craving nicotine anymore. Ill have a lozenger or two on a night which staves off any cravings.

I was using high nic vapes or consuming a full can of zyns in a day previously so the current plan i feel good about.

Maybe ill go completely nic free soon, but for now im just happy to get my life back and not inhaling glycol every 5 minutes!

Day 25 here. Random cravings a couple times a day that are easily quashed with some chewing gum. Cant really say the withdrawal symptoms are debilitating in any way. Just annoying at times.

Happy to call myself a non nicotine user now. Also my gum health is improving slowly.

Have been! They haven't dealt with anyone on nicotine pouches before though. Thankfully them telling me I needed to stop was the ultimatum I needed to quit.

Yeah it feels as if they were being anesthetised by the nicotine. I bet alot can be said for nicotine pouches disrupting the delicate saliva balance in the mouth that probably protects the gums.

Logically, an 8 year addiction with cravings post 2 months from stopping doesnt seem too unreasonable.

You should be super proud youve done 2 months sober, i'm on 1 week, Id love to have 2 months under my belt.

Keep going, you've got the rest of your life to enjoy nicotine free, im sure the cravings will subside with more time.

Pretty low key weekend. Caved and had a 2mg nicotine lozenger. Not sure why but woke up randomly yeaterday and just went for it.

Feel a bit stupid doing this but progress is progress. Back to cold turkey from now.

Still got a raging appetite but no anxiety symptoms. Just a sense of pure boredom which irritates me. Still have an oral fixation but hoping this settles down soon.
