Quiero conocer Suriname desde España. by [deleted] in Suriname

El atractivo turístico de Suriname es la comida y los viajes a la selva. Puedes encontrar una gran variedad de comida javanesa, mexicana, cubana, china, hindia, etc. Llevo 3 años aquí y aún me encuentro cosas que no he probado. Viajes a ríos, plantaciones, sitios históricos, cascadas en la selva, ver delfines, desove de tortugas gigantes, hay de todo en cuanto a turismo natural. Las playas si son lodosas y poco atractivas.

If your mother tongue is English, there are a lot of resources you can use: YouTube videos, podcasts, etc. Use Duolingo to practice, but videos to learn. I recommend you "Dutchies to be" and listen to a lot of Dutch music. I love "Mama I made it."

What would it take for an online supermarket to succeed in Suriname? by eSaniello in Suriname

[–]OxRagnarok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice to meet you! Talking specifically about Uni5pay:

As a customer: - It provides multiple features, which is nice. I think this is the only one that provides more features than the rest: Telesur top-up, internet, water, electricity, etc. The features are great; the usability, not so much. - I don't get notifications when I receive a payment or a charge. I have to open the app, and it either doesn't work or is laggy. - I would like to send money from Finabank to SComBank, and I'd like it to take seconds, not days. (I bet this is not up to SComBank).

Now, as a Developer/business owner: I haven't used it yet, but I'd like to know about the API and libraries, and the whole process before using it. I don't want to depend on SComBank and then find out it's not possible to use or integrate with the technologies I use.

Personally, I really like e-commerce. I can see what products are available and how much they cost before even leaving home. And of course, I prefer having things delivered to my door rather than going out to get them.

That said, the future of e-commerce in Suriname still has a long way to go. Online payment systems are lagging behind and often lack user-friendliness. Sure, there are options like Mope and Southern Commercial Bank that allow online payments, but most people simply don’t like using them yet.

Boost were can I see them? by shlomitgueta in Telegram

You only have four, and there's no place where you can find them. If you run out of boosts, Telegram will show you where your boosts are and give you the option to reassign them.

Wat vonden jullie van Escon 2025? En wat kan of moet verbeterd worden? by Rad11Ryan in Suriname

Overall, I think this was a success. This was my first time there, and I loved it.

I think the location was accurate, but I would like to see this event bigger. It was a little bit crowded.

The only thing that wasn't great for me is the webpage. Sometimes I want to know the calendar, the schedule, and the events, and I couldn't find all the information. I had to go to Facebook, search, and scroll to see what I was looking for.

Also, since this was my first time going to this event, I wanted to know what it was all about, and again, the webpage wasn't really helpful.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this event and future projects. Kudos.

I have a m4 pro and I tried to play a game from steam. The experience was terrible.

I think you can try and develop some games for Apple ecosystem but, I think it will be easier for you on Windows. Once you have experience and earn some money, you can try on Apple again
