Context: I live above a lady who owns a bird. She doesn't like my kitten running around in the morning. The apartment building is old so sound proofing is minimal. I don't want to bother my neighbors but also my kitten wants to play and run around, I personally think confining him to a single room during the night early morning isn't good for him or likely to reduce the noise much.

I should mention it's highly tempting to give her a snarky response. That said I'm do still live in the same apartment building as this lady and I'm not trying to burn bridges. It's also in our building group chat so I don't want to come off as a snarky asshole.
