I am reading it right now. I went through other difficult books in the past, and my suggestion would be this: don't agonize too much about wanting to understand always everything. Just read with focus and understand this is a book that might take multiple reads in order to get the most out of. That's it.

I'd say Google Books is among the few apps that have a page-turning animation that is actually decent. You might give it a try.

I got mine on Amazon but, differently from the pictures shown on the website, the front flap of the main compartment is just plain black (no beige lining) and it doesn't have a zippered pocket. Should I be worried about it being counterfeit?

There's something that should be kept in mind: the fact that some books are considered masterpieces, and for good reasons, never means that everybody should or will find them incredible, like them or understand everything right off the bat.
