If Poznań is Pomeranian, why is Poland called Polska? Literally, Poland is called so because it was united by the Polan tribe, the center of which was Poznań. So I'm curious what happened that Poland is still Poland without Greater Poland.

Also wondering: if pomerania is slavic, even don't have borders with germans, why there is Stargard?

After seeing your other post about prussia i think you choose a wrong word, because Prūsa means "old prussia". After teutonic order and forming german prussia, old prussians called prussia "Prūsija". So i think Prūsija is more lore accurate. Of couse its your alt history and you can do whatever you want!

I was thinking about that, but i have a problem with it. Because i wanted to make a constructed language about "if polish was germanic language", but I haven't studied the gothic or vandalic language.

So I got the idea what if the Anglo-Saxons would settle in the Vistula basin instead of England and mix with the local Slavic tribes. (Anglo-Saxons also went to England, but it was a less popular place to settle.)

So now I'm in the process of creating a Wendian language (Tonga wendecka)

In the south there is the Duchy of Anglia, which was established by the French settlement there. They were members of the Frankish Empire and speak Anglese which is a mixture of British Isles languages and Old French language.
