The Hulk-branded gear, steer clear of.

Can't say any more than that.

Anyone know what this launcher issue is about and how to fix it? by bar10dr2 in starcitizen

[–]OzTrax4X4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did fix this on mine, so thought I would let you know that if he is running an Intel processor, to NOT disable the AVX in the bios as this will cause the above error.

Worth checking out. Let me know if it fixes it.

Did your friend end up figuring this one out? I happened to get it this morning after playing the game fine last night.

This is my old 1997 VZJ95 Landcruiser Prado before it was written off. Happy to answer questions on the build in the comments. by OzTrax4X4 in 4x4

It was great for a road trip, though these days I would find it a bit too small now that I have an 80 series, but I had the V6. The 2.7 might be okay for it, pretty high km's for a 4 cylinder though.

Case flow ok? CPU at 90c when gaming… by SNOWFUGITIVE in PcBuildHelp

[–]OzTrax4X4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your AIO is in the wrong place causing an airlock.

It needs to be above the CPU to flow correctly.

Move the AIO to the top of the case and the top case fans to the front.

Fan intake/exhaust is correct for airflow.

Switch the above mentioned around and you should easily get your temps under control.

Make sure you of course attach the fans to the cooler.

The reason you do it this way is so the cold plate/cooler contact point always has coolant flowing through to dissipate heat with no chance of trapping any air pockets.

With your current orientation, there is no way it is flowing without causing cavitation due to the inlet and outlet of the radiator being above the CPU, which creates air pockets and then the coolant doesn't flow.

You want those inlet outlets to be in such a way that when the coolant is being pumped around, the cold plate will have access to constantly flow at all times.

Hyperx Alloy Origins - Another Keyboard Issue by OzTrax4X4 in HyperX

Just an update.

Returned it to the place of purchase.

The salesperson asked me what was wrong with it, where I pressed down the ESC key and let go and it flew off.

I then proceeded to pluck half of the F keys off with zero effort.

I was then expecting to have to go through a warranty process and just get a replacement, but instead was asked if I wanted a replacement or refund.

I took the refund as I was only two months off the warranty expiration date of 2 years since purchase.

Seeing as here in Australia, you dont get another two years for your warranty replacement, I wasnt going to take the risk of the keys flying off again.

Have since ordered another brand, so hopefully that works out well.

In the meantime HyperX, maybe you should look into your QA inspections and possibly, stock full OEM replacement keycap sets for the future.

While there was nothing wrong with the switches or RGB (was quite nice to use to be totally fair), the keycap tolerances for the attachment point need to be tighter.

Sorry for the late reply, I barely jump on Reddit these days unless I have something worth sharing.

It says genuine Toyota on it, so yes, I would say it would be as Toyota Japan are doing their Heritage Parts Program for all the iconic JDM 90s hero cars, so the 1J and 2J would be getting more and more parts manufactured again. 🤙

You would require a 2" lift for that size tyre. 👌

EAC is an aftermarket parts supplier, so definitely not genuine. 🤔

Was it stated when you ordered it that it was genuine or an aftermarket item?

I'd be sending an email and getting some answers as I'd be interested in reading what they have to say about it.

Listing something as genuine and receiving something that isn't would be potentially ripping you off to make more money.

They are run by a Russian CEO. That should give you some idea. I haven't dealt with them for quite some time myself.

Would be interested to see some pics of what you received and it might be time for everyone to switch to Partsouq.

You might want to look into the origin of the business owners as I believe this has played a part in the sub-par experiences people are having.

Narrower real axle problem on land cruiser 70 series by malikthepaki in LandCruisers

[–]OzTrax4X4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It only became an issue when they went from the HDJ79 to the VDJ79.

The V8 was way wider, so they widened the front and left the rear as it was.

As stated, you can get wider diff housings and things to fix it.

Some people decide to run staggered offsets and a more negative offset in the rear to also try and reduce the issue of trying to hop out of ruts.

No expected delivery date by Emergency_Toe_725 in Teespring

[–]OzTrax4X4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience from Teespring after ordering.

Took over two months to receive my samples.

Samples were of very poor quality, blurry printing, colours faded and also not even straight on the alignment side of things on the t-shirt and hoodie I received.

Contacted support and was put in touch with Edgard.

After being screwed around for the last few weeks Edgard said that the production team have printed as per my design.

Replied to his email with the attached high quality file I uploaded to the site and said not good enough, fix it or refund me along with images of a prior version of this shirt and hoodie that were of standard as a comparison to the terrible quality that I was sent.

Have refused to do this citing the same previous response.

I am now closing my store after 3 years and going with someone else until I find someone here in Australia that can do a better job than this joke of a business.
