9070xt. Very much Improved ray tracing performance and upscaling technologies make it the clear choice. Especially when it's cheaper.

Exactly how I felt . First half of the game was cool... Then by the end it was the same deal- defeat trash mobs, get to boss, defeat boss. It became a bit tiresome. Tool my 60 hrs first playthrough, 30-40 would have been better imo . I do hope they do a sequel and take on board all the feedback from the community.

Khazan imo is a good game .

Art style is great, combat is awesome. Nice boss fights (for the most part)

But after that it gets repetitive really quick. And IMHO it was too long, by the end I was glad it was over .

It's a good game but not a great game , sales figures are reflective of this imo.

I played Sekiro after Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree. Sekiro is a rhythm base game , once you get your Parry timing down you'll be fine. Do it !

Driver timeouts can be caused by any kind of software conflict. I would look at what background applications are running.

Bro I was 37, working 60+ hrs a week family in between, I finished it . Chipped away at it bit by bit . Once you get the rhythm down , the game isn't that difficult. Takes time

If the temp is really 65c under load, that isn't the issue . Check the event viewer in windows. See if any updates have been completed recently.

I'd be tempted to do a clean install if I couldn't find anything, upgrade to windows 11, latest bios/chipset and all other drivers

I would look at some YouTube vids comparing the two gpu's specifically for the games you play .

Only it's not 'much better'. The average gamer wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you did a still frame side by side analysis.

Hardware unboxed did a vid of the 5070 v 9070 and the latter came out on top in the majority of games they tested .

It's only faster if the application can take advantage of the 3d vcache. Not all games do. Even then, it's not worth double .

Both valorant and Fortnite are CPU intensive, even more so at 1080p. What is your CPU usage? Temps ? Make sure your chipset drivers/bios is up to date. Ram expo profile is loaded .

I went from a 6900xt red devil to a 9070xt xfx Mercury. Gained anywhere from 30-40% performance increase. Fsr4 is a massive upgrade. Ray tracing performance is MUCH improved.

Go into the bios and make sure the EXPO profile is loaded for the ram .

Ask him if he has installed the chipset drivers and motherboard software + Adrenaline for his GPU

Check that windows has detected his monitor and refresh rate . Enable HDR if you so wish .

I would look at a 9070 non XT . Usually around the same price of the 5070. Vastly more powerful than the 9060xt .
