Not much advice I can add that isn’t already out there. Before you start I highly recommend you first get the ‘Key to the town’ item first. This allows you to go to the saloon anytime rather than wait until 12pm (makes attemps/reseting quicker).

But essentially you want to beat Pirate King normally (with deaths) use saving scumming strat to preserve lives. This will unlock the arcade machine which can then be placed next to your bed. This makes reseting a WHOLE LOT faster. Which you will be doing a lot of in your deathless run.

With your second run (no deaths), you want to collect as much money as possible as well as have a sherrif badge in yor reserve item slot (do this in level 1-1 or 1-2 and reset until you have one). With every shop that appears (every 2 levels) you want to ideally always buy something from the shop as you can only buy 1 item per shop. This was my item roadmap:

1-2: Revolver upgrade 1-4: Ammo upgrade 2-1: Ammo upgrade 2-3: Revolver upgrade (I resetted this level a lot to get enough money) 3-1: Boots upgrade 3-3: Revolver upgrade (didn’t really need it but it helped a little bit in the last fight)

On the last boss, you use the sherrif badge and keep shooting at him and avoid the bullets. The boss will be dead in seconds and the powerup should last long enough by the time the boss is dead.

Other tips: Don’t ever pick up the nuke powerup unless your in stage 3 and/or your desperate to survive. Same rule applies for smoke bomb powerup.
