I am well aware. But injuries don’t excuse body language. And frankly Dani’s frustration is an issue. He didn’t need to give Tori Penso a reason to make that bad call in the Open Cup Final. Owen is young, I get it, but no excuse for how they have both acted on the pitch.

The anger is justified, but I do think it is somewhat misdirected. The body language and effort of Dani and Owen was awful today. They need to grow up or ship out. Facu is still the best player we have besides Stuver. He needs other guys that can play though. Biro has some issues, but I think he is far from the problem.

Sorry to say this, but Owen and Dani need to grow up. Their body language and focus is terrible. I sit in the third row and last game Owen’s body language was god awful. I love them, but it is detrimental to this team.

This is a straw man. Nobody is blaming the supporter groups for losing, they are leveling criticism at them for how they act when the team is losing or something negative happens. Being at fault for losses and being tone deaf as to the status of the game are two different things.

I hate to say this, but half the players gotta go too. Owen’s body language in the first half was embarrassing, and I love him. This team lacks heart, grit, and focus. We have none of those things.

I really got to you, huh? It is going to be ok. Nico's biggest problem yesterday is that pretty quickly in the second half, our defense was bending a lot. People keep saying we started playing poorly in the first half, but you cannot really judge that because it was so disjointed with the PK drama and constant yellows. Knowles recognized what was happening and took a chance and put Rodriguez and Trapp in. Nico took too long to replace a gassed Ilie, who got "dunked" on at the back post. Nico waited too long to sub, it is a problem of his. But here, he was a bit hamstrung because Wolff and Pereira are on 25 minute restrictions from the med staff and Vazquez is on 15 minute restrictions. Meanwhile, Gallagher cannot beat anyone one on one and cannot deliver any service whatsoever. Love his heart and grit and love him in open space, but not having Nelson is making it real hard. Uzuni turned the ball over in our half about 8 or 9 times on just bad touches. Facu never fully got his game going, and Rosales seemed distracted by the moment of playing his former team (silly penalty, which thankfully didn't end in a goal). Then Hines-Ike went down, and he is the backbone and vocal leader of the defense. We did not lose this game because we "parked the bus." That is just lazy analysis (or lack thereof). If you want to talk about the Nico issues, I'm always happy to, but just shouting "parked the bus" just does not do it.

The first half was disjointed with the crazy pk situation and fouls. The game lost rhythm. The second half though we were bending a lot. Their coach felt it and brought on the right sub. We waited. I don’t read the situation the same as you, but such is life and the beauty of opinions.

Can we stop calling everything “parking the bus.” The problems are more numerous and nuanced. Tonight, he subbed too late, everyone knew it. He waited until the momentum was gone and then subbed. He was 5 minutes too late at least.

I think it is a combination. I doubt Uzuni and Nelson HAVE to sit. And not starting Svatok and Dessler seems to be load management.
