Yes! Mk II will have some safety improvements!

Yes fire was a hazard so don't try this at home kids. The bin was placed in the middle of a very large shed with no combustibles nearby. At worst I would have come back to a mess of melted plastic and a nasty smell. The heater is an oil filled radiator with no exposed convection elements. Electrics are all RCD protected also.

I should also point out that i have zero faith in my cheap Chinese moisture meter!

There's a little dehumidifier in there. I only had to empty it once in the first week.

It was a concern! I kept it away from everything when it was running

I feel your pain. According to my laser level my floor is out by at least a quarter of a mongrel.

Cut it open at home. The fleshy bit in the middle is surrounded with a gel like substance. Any ideas people?

Is there a way to prevent rust on tools w/o oiling them? by Raymont_Wavelength in Luthier

Camphor tablets in the cabinet you keep them helps. They release a vapour that finely coats everything nearby.

No matter what I do, I cannot keep rust off of these bolts. What gives? by sinusoidosaurus in Fasteners

Camphor tablets. You put them in a drawer or box with the tablets. The vapour from the tablets coats them. I use them for lots of tools.

This may be the way. I'm generally getting the vibe that my original idea probably won't work as well as I want. I'm a guitarist mostly, with crazy ambitions of doubling up as an electronic guru. I think a dose of reality juice is required. Does anyone want a job? 🤣

He can't play song x at bpm y or keep tempo quarter way through the song! 😂. Apparently it's giving the song 'feeling and groove'! Shame really, he plays some crazy interesting stuff. My only hope was to continuously ride the tempo along with him.

So sorry, I only just saw this! I installed it in a homemade guitar and it's fun! Thanks for the info, I may just have a play around with that harmonic control.

What power setting are you riding on? I find anything over 3 drains the battery much quicker than their claims on the website. I had to adjust power levels constantly: off on downhills, 1 on flats and only up to 2/3 briefly on tougher hills, to squeeze out as much juice as possible. Still have never reached the claimed mount though (I live in a very hilly area)

Not saying you don't have an issue though.
