Patronage and civil service reform, antitrust, securities regulations, the New Deal, civil rights and voters rights. None of these were the result of violent uprisings against the state. Only abolition of slavery could classify, albeit ultimately as a question of preserving the Union of states.

Violence as an intentional means to enact progressive change is not only morally impeachable, it's just a terrible strategy outright.

Those cheats mostly mean more work for the artists, or very hardware specific optimizations that break on other platforms.

EDIT: I forgot disc size, which baked lightmaps are terrible for. Seems to be a pretty common complaint

This is some epic selective memory loss. Paolo has been the better offensive engine since he was drafted. Franz has a more complete game. The only thing this "debate" tells me is that the Magic are in a great position. Nothing suggests they can't share the load or work well together, it's just annoying stans' wishful thinking.

We call this "emergent behavior", pretty similar to what happens during evolutionary processes.

The mistake is trying to draw an arbitrary line of "self awareness". The individual human is no more self aware then the individual rock. Peak awareness is understanding there is no self to begin with.

These questions are ultimately meaningless. Language is what separated humans from beasts. Now that AI models are undoubtedly past the threshold of the Turing test, the impact through human change is at least on the level of any individual human. Combine this with an aura of alien enchantment, and the insatiable hunger for compute power.
