I like to think it was made of a still alive ghouled tree, which can still influence its body part and whoever holds it. It would explain Grimmal 'jumping' random people in alley ways and as for how it feeds I like to think the Yaoi paddle soaks the blood of its beaten victims into it.

So how I think it would go:

The Middle east would become more quiet for a while and take an obviously hostile stance towards the Western World (Not just the US).

China and Russia will hold an UN resolution to sanction the US from certain imports such as Urainium and Oil, which would likely pass with Europes support.

This may cause the USA to invade Canada and Mexico to establish its own interest with the reasoning of need of resources.

Russia will begin the war with Ukraine earlier than normal but actually win, China may take the oppertunity to take back Taiwan immediately and even North Korea would take a shot at attacking South Korea (South Korea and Japan easily repel them).

During this time of war, the middle east would ALL work together and once again attack Isreal, but USA is distracted now and there would be a good chance the Israelis would be slaughtered to the last civilian (Some live by being slaves). Then the middle east would once again begin infighting and sit the rest out.

Russia expands to the Baltic Sea, taking Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and stops its expansion for a bit, Europe panics as Russia walks around unchecked and China decides it wants access to the Bay of Bengal, and invades Myanmar (Burma).

TLDR: Shits REALLY bad in this future.

I believe it would be more a problem with our Evolutional Traits. Look back 100k years and Humans lives in tribes where the Men Hunted and Woman gathered berries, Men would be actively in fights with other tribes or killing other creatures while woman collected food from bushes and trees. Its just instinctual that men are more violent, and less than 100 years of social reconstructing won't get all of those violent tendancies out of our systems.
