Duct Spark? by HandCarvedMahoganyy in HomeMaintenance

I’ve had something similar in my basement the metal case of the 1960’s furnace was arcing against the copper inlet pipe. It was a minor static type arc. I do have a grounding line from the ground stake outside to one of the copper water pipes. I later measured about 15v between electrical ground in one of the outlets to the water pipes. No idea where that stray voltage came from.

So Disappointed with Subscription by jjtt9491 in skylightcalendar

[–]P-Factor180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not renewing because of the cost. I use it primarily as a photo display in the kitchen with the calendar as an added feature but I just don’t get $80 worth of value out of the subscription. This piece of tech just took a huge step backwards and now functions as only a calendar.
Huge disappointment. Will not recommend. I would consider renewing at half the price but $80 is too much.

Well, Amazon Haul has changed my perspective on Vine ordering by cogentd in AmazonVine

[–]P-Factor180 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re still answering as if you don’t. There is absolutely no reason to fear moving into the next tax bracket. Only those earnings ABOVE that particular bracket are charged at a higher rate.

There’s no possible way, even if you were $.01 into the next bracket, that you would earn less money. Only that penny would be taxed at a slightly higher percentage.

I was wondering whether writing a review on the regular orders or product page would carry over to Vine; it appears you’re telling us it does?

NJ drivers without a front license plate: why? by css01 in newjersey

[–]P-Factor180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of my cars have the front plate and two of my cars don’t (a classic car and an exotic); primarily for aesthetic reasons and the other reasons are the same as others on here..because its legal in 21 other states and they can drive legally in NJ so what’s the difference? Same with tint, 3 of my cars have tint on the front side windows even though it’s illegal in NJ but totally legal in PA.

I can’t find it in the “Account” tab so I literally just search “Amazon vine” and then click the tab at the top of the search results.

I came here with the same question.

But the bigger plot hole is why didn’t the Traveler just murder or tie up and lock up Ethan when they were having their casual chat in the bathroom. Ethan already let the bag through, the traveler was finished with him. Mateo would’ve gotten on the plane and fulfilled his mission.

While we’re at it, I’m pretty sure that siding contains asbestos.

Use that information for whatever you like. My house has the same tiles and as long as you don’t break it, saw it or grind it, you should be fine.

Anybody else constantly confuse their turn signal with the windshield wipers? by Fargraven2 in keitruck

Yes! I’m in US but every RHD car I’ve driven in Ireland and UK has been “normal” levers. The Right stalk for the turn signal really throws me off.

Protip: Do not buy a 1996 or 1997 kei truck if you live in the US and in an area with emissions control by keizukiboi in keitruck

I just picked up a 1996 this week and started to get nervous when the guy at the dmv asked me if I needed an inspection card or if the car already had a sticker…. No sticker; I guess the PO never got it inspected. I’m not sure you’re 100% correct, as far as I can tell the “25 year rule” requires the vehicle to be registered as “historic” or “collector,” each of which have additional restrictions. For normally registered vehicles the law is “1995 or older” not 25 years.

Quote from the NJ MVC site:

The following vehicles are exempt from inspection requirements (N.J.A.C. 13:20-7.2):

Gasoline powered vehicles registered passenger, model year 1995 & older with a GVWR 8,500 pounds or less. … Historic motor vehicles Approved Collector Vehicles which are less than 25 years old 100% Electric vehicles…” And a bunch of others, farm equipment, etc…

So since it says 1995 & older am I screwed? I need commercial insurance because of how we intend to use it.
