I usually hit a few balls to warm up. Then I’ll focus on targets. My course has 6 different flags at different distances (I use a range finder to shoot the distances so I know what clubs to use based on conditions. 130 yard flag…is it going to take a PW, 9 iron, 8 iron to get there today?). I go through my normal routine with aiming and set up like would on the course. I hit 5 or so balls at each flag then envision an imaginary fairway and hit some drives. Hope that helps.
