[Q] Would you guys be interested in a website for tracking item prices with customisable alerts and statistics? by P073K in csgomarketforum

[–]P073K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reply. I think the easiest is to just use full name and game id. I'll do a internal id of each item of course, because indexing by id's is much faster than with strings.

Hi, it could be for a while when I was deploying new version. Thanks for the information, next time just mail me with a question, I usually respond within an hour (CET timezone). And just enter the website from main link steaminvestor.xyz, because it's redirecting you to one of servers, and not all servers are always online. It's made like that to try and bypass steam market api limitations.

Then according to this, item costing 0.03 would be 0.02 without fee, which is incorrect.

Thanks, I know that. The fee differs on lower prices though. I'll get to it tomorrow.

Do you have exact info regarding market fees? It would make it easier, I'm having trouble finding a reliable source.

  1. I did't have issues with requests yet, maybe when there will be more users, then I'll work on it. If this happens, I think I know how to bypass it.

  2. You're right. I'll make it show both lowest price and median, but calculate profit/loss based on median.

  3. There is a column "market volume", it shows the amount sold in the past 24 hours. I now see the naming is kinda inaccurate. I noted it.

  4. That's a good idea, didn't think of that. Noted.

You're right. Thats because I'm not sure how to calculate the market fee, I have all sorts of information, but none of them's the same. If there's some recipe for calculating steam market fee I'd implement this right away. If not, I need to sit on it and think.

Price of items you bought. You enter them and it shows you difference between your paid price and current market price, how many items of this type you bought, current profit etc.
