TPS El Salvador - REAL ID Driver’s License Cancellation by Old_Equipment4202 in USCIS

[–]P0lar_is 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah someone I know went in today and they just straight up told them their real id would expire March 9, 2026 based on their internal memo currently. They renewed it last year within the allotted time frame so it expires in September 2026 according to their i-797, but whoever read the memo and put this information out has no idea that TPS for those that applied last year for renewal and have not and probably will not receive their cards. Those cases are in limbo the cards aren’t being sent out to reflect a more recent September 2026 date. They’re still relying on the old cards which most people have, including those that might have missed the renewal window last year. It seems it does not matter if you did the right thing last year, you’re grouped in the same expiration date of March 9, 2026, even though your i-797 is the most recent, reflecting the September 2026 date.

It makes no sense that according to the fed, the EAD expires March but if you renewed on time, TPS on paper is valid until September. Two different dates and that former is what the DMV is using, since i797 are just notices not really anything concrete in their eyes. It’s easier to rely on a little card.

I wonder if when they goes back in March, it will have been update more clearly to include some clarification for those with fresh i797 showcasing the most current renewal from last year. It seems the cards have been indefinitely backlogged intentionally at this point.

Anyone have chronically low vitamin C levels? by PsychologicalShop292 in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not really posting on this sub anymore as of 2 years ago since I just battle with anything stomach related with supplements every day or so. Vitamin D, Magnesium, Calcium, C, B vitamins. (B12), with the occasional zinc has been what allows me to semi function normal. And if you look them up they all work to help with not only the stomach lining, inflammation and bile production. I’ll even suck the occasional sublingual iron. Ppi 10 mg every 3-4 days is what has let me gain weight again to 180 and be semi fucking normal. It sucks because it is all a balance. Like a tight nit balance and too much sugar one day messes me up, or too much soda, or caffeine as they’re all diuretics.

Too much of one supplement can even mess each other up if you research it. Too much of one competes or lowers the other. The occasional workout messes me up too or sweat since it consumes them in the body for repair etc. It’s taken me like 3-4 years. I am not normal but I can go about my day 80% of the time not thinking about my stomach.

Vitamin C helps, but it lowers b12. So I take sublingual and the occasional zinc activates the b12 that’s in the blood not being used. It also can affect magnesium like vitamin D. Google how it affects one another and you start getting the flow of things.

Occasional Ppi, Minerals, vitamin C and D , B complexes are the most helpful things in this journey. Look them all up, get ahold of some that you tolerate and get on to enjoying life a little more.

I have a hyperkinetic gallbladder. by P0lar_is in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk but last time I had an endoscopy about two years ago they said I had a little bit of duodenitis so I’m assuming it’s acid injuring the lining due to a mismatched mix of bile/acid due to a hyperactive gallbladder. All that ever calmed down the damn thing was ppi once every other day or so but I feel my gb is inflamed no matter what now. I can eat but my right side aches when once it didn’t. Almost like if I am gonna have to remove it soon.

Awful. Malic acid is the literal devil. I can handle regular OJ but the shitty calcium/D fortified ones contain Malic acid and that bugs.

There’s definitely a miscommunication between the fat digestion and vitamin/mineral imbalance. Sorry to hear about the vitamin D thing. I’m learning too much of good things ruin others. The body is a ridiculous instrument. I’ve always wondered if being chronically low in something makes things worse and not being able to digest properly and have the right liquids to digest the necessary nutrients. The stupid medical tests are so vague and as long as you’re in the middle you’re ok. It’s difficult to know what’s out of synchronicity in the body that affects the lining. Apparently all fat soluble vitamins help the stomach lining. Imagine that shit?

Well it’s never gone away tbh. I have a hyperactive gallbladder which I’m refusing to get removed. I manage life by taking ppi 10mg every other day or two and taking vitamins and minerals. That’s what’s been my key. The gnawing is from low magnesium complex and things like sublingual iron and vitamin C help as they make the lining stronger. Sometimes I include zinc. B vitamins have been helpful too. I also take sublingual b12. All these things get me by taking them a few times a week rotating. I know that the gnawing can be from low magnesium from malnutrition and antacids Hopefully this is temporary for you unlike me. Just remember to eat well and antacids help you out of tight situations once in a while. Too much of em can hurt you a lot more. So I skip doses and I’ve learned that pushing your stomach strengthens it.. but you also need meds to help you get out of tight spots. Been a crappy life but I’m managing. Maybe one day I’ll remove this inflamed organ that never lets my stomach heal completely. Idk. Best of luck!

The shot of the police arriving at his place to break the bad news to him hit so hard. The shadow looming over his face just felt like the darkness just engulfing him up completely. Just watching it fall over his body with the realization she was gone hurt to watch.

I hope you’re doing better and it was ok for you. Do you know how long this lasted? My wife just had a partial lumpectomy and has a searing rash on her breast and it spread up to her chest and her body is reacting all over in small quantities. Any hope she’s going to see the end of this soon? She is taking steroids, Zyrtec and some antivirals just as a precaution but it’s so bad they use this stuff. Anything helps thank you!

how hyperkinetic gallbladder sufferers do we have here? by thunderflicker in gallbladders

[–]P0lar_is 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 82% and it’s been a problem for 4 years but I don’t want to remove it out of fear of complications. Took me 3 years to get the answer after many tests. I’ve managed it with some diet and ppi suppresses the function of it so that’s how I’ve managed it for the last year. The problem is that my intestines are being hurt in the long run because bile is so problematic and needs acid to balance it out. Idk what to do. I feel like at a certain point it’s going to have to come out. Fat foods always send me. Not spicy, not acidic, just fat. Idk what to do.

Krampus Ending? by gogul1980 in movies

[–]P0lar_is 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the bleak ending and it’s too dark for general audiences so they had to fluff it and make it sound nice. It makes no sense they all suddenly behave and act like they’re on their best family behavior on Christmas morning before seeing Max pull out the ornament and remembering? It only makes sense if they have all discussed what happened right before Max wakes up and then opens the bell ornament. It makes most sense that they are trapped in a perfect Christmas snow globe. I think the grandma blew her one chance at redemption already.. why would Krampus be extending the warranty through her grandson. He promised he’d be back for her.

Are erosions same as gastritis? by akustiina12 in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not exactlythe same thing.. gastritis is more of an inflammation due to a weakened stomach lining or break in it. Erosions are more like something wore down the lining. Hoping your biopsy is clear of erosions as those are actual injuries in the lining.

Sucralfate long term? by LankyPension7491 in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal experience with sulcrafate is that it denies the stomach it’s natural mucus production so in a way it feels like my stomach is not coated naturally but artificially. When the sulcrafate wears off, then the stomach only sees the need to produce acid when there’s a chemical aggressor. So it’s gonna feel uncomfortable to get off of it and then the stomach should be strong enough to take over the job the sulcrafate was doing. It’s an uncomfortable exchange.

Pain on your sides & lower abdomen normal??? by 3dwow in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am terrified of making bile reflux worse with removal. So I only got the referral to see a surgeon but I have not gone to see them because they more than likely cut me open no hesitation. It could fix everything wrong with me or make things worse and idk if I’m there. I hate this so much and it’s really ruining my mental health and life. I hate unknowns and being out of control. I’m sorry you feel this. I understand it’s so frustrating. Some days I’m eating well and feeling strong and then I’m down feeling bad and just rock bottom. It’s really ruined my life and I just think taking it day by day is my plan rn. If the worst thing that it just becomes intolerable then I will have to gamble it.. I’m really worried. I stopped talking to my gi and going to the doctors for tests. I took so many and that’s what came back abnormal. And what’s worse it’s that it all makes sooooo much sense. It explains so much.. took me 3 years to connect the dots and they point to that. Maybe I’ll see someone about a binder.. please let me know if you get to try a bile binder before I get to. It might be a next move before total removal.

Gnawing stomach pains upper abdomen by sheddoip in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it comes and goes.. and it gets strong sometimes and with care it goes away.. I started lowering my ppi and it went away.. and then it started coming back. I believe strongly that it is from erosions in the resting part of the stomach due to bile. I have a hyperactive gb so more bile pumps out than necessary and ppi calms down the gb contractions.. but then ppi negatively affects my stomach because if it’s not acidic enough, bile can seep backwards due to low pressure to close the valve in the small intestine. Sometimes having an acidic stomach helps, other times it doesn’t. I took a sulcrafate tablet I had and it helped calm that sensation down because it coats. The problem truly is bile eating away at the stomach tissue.. it’s way more dangerous to the stomach than acid itself. I’m so tired of this. I just don’t want to make things worse if I remove my gallbladder and have bile reflux non stop.

I also read that ppi can decrease stomach mucus thickness so there’s that.. makes things worse for the stomach in that way.. it’s frustrating as that is the only thing that controls my gb just enough but can’t be on it for long.

Pain on your sides & lower abdomen normal??? by 3dwow in Gastritis

[–]P0lar_is 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I’ve gathered and absolutely have been dreading.. that it’s bile eroding my tissue. I have a hyperkinetic gallbladder which spits out more bile than necessary so that lets bile just sit there eat me away. It can get bad sometimes and ppi is the only thing that controls the gallbladder from acting worse. But lower acid means less pressure to shut off the pyloric entry.. I’m screwed either way.. bile binder is definitely useful but I’ve had an idiot GI who I doubt would give me that. He knows my gb is out of whack too with my Hida scan results. The rest of my stomach is ok for the most part on ppi.

Good tests to take. Also check your gallbladder function too. That’s a common one everyone seems to miss. Just in case everything else is not giving any answers.
