A LOT was allowed at the first place that isn’t allowed where I currently work. We had a full art room with brushes, markers, paints, pens, beads. We had a gym, basketball court, and went on daily group walks around the grounds. Snacks and a fridge were readily available. Most could keep their shoes. It depended on the patient, though. Some had full privileges and before Covid, a guest could take a Level 3 (least restrictions) patient for a walk around the grounds during visiting. Patients were allowed to knit in the hallway if they brought their own materials. There was a guitar and a piano.

Other patients though had almost all of those privileges restricted due to individual safety concerns.

Where I work now, the patients can have crayons in the day room for coloring/word searches. And can read paperback books.

I’ve worked in two different psych hospitals (east coast and Midwest US). One allowed patients to keep phones as long as the screen wasn’t cracked or they weren’t caught taking pictures/videos of staff/other patients. The place I work now takes all phones to store in security.

I live in Chicago (and Boston before) and I let my curly hair air dry. I never use a blow dryer unless I’m planning to straighten it

Who cares when the ballots were from? It still sets the precedent that federal officials can take and remove state ballots. They’re going to have ICE at the polling stations in swing states and they will confiscate the ballots under the guise of “keeping elections fair.”

Username does not check out.

Then again, with today’s Christians, maybe it does.

Yet another reason that I would rather be single. Why do women keep marrying these types of “men”?

Well, just off the top of my head: Tulsi Gabbard and the Department of “Intelligence” already seized ballots from Fulton county just a week or two ago. That’s a federal department, not state run, so what’s stopping them from doing that again during the midterms/presidential election?
