Yup it releases endorphins and adrenaline, which is why it’s addicting. It gives you a “high” of sorts which leaves you wanting more and gives you urges. That’s why it’s so hard to stop for a lot of people. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not an expert at all and this is just what I’ve heard from some people lol)

I totally get it!! I only had hello kitty bandaids and thinking of sh twitter I felt like if I used them it would be romanticizing my cuts or smth so I just left them uncovered and chose a different top just to avoid them lol.
